Took my wife’s car in for a tire change.
I had an appointment.
When I arrived I was told it would take about an hour, so I decided to wait as I lived about 20 minutes away.
2 hours later with no one coming out after an hour to tell me there was a delay!
I ended up having to walk into the shop to find out what was going on as it was 7:30pm and the auto center closed at 7pm. To which I was told “a you can’t be in here” by who I assume was the manager.
I asked what was going on and was told they were taking care of the paperwork!
10 minutes later the car was done. I asked why did it take 2 hours and not 1 and was told they only had one tech available when there was no other cars and 3 guys and the manager!
He must think I’m an idiot!
To top it off, the tires were overinflated, so I had to take care of that when I got home. They should have been at 33psi. See photo!
I tried to call the store 5 times to speak to a manager and the phone just rings out!!
I’m never going to this Walmart ever again and I advise you to avoid it like the plague!!

Walmart has a lot of products, but they ran out of my brand of bottled water. I bought their last 6 gallons about a month ago.

The auto center customer service is horrible! I waited 20 minutes at the counter to check out. When a cashier finally came to check me out, he seemed lost and confused and left the counter. I left and went to electronics to check out. While at electronics, I told the cashier there about my experience in automotive, he said,"Yes, I've heard that alot!" I would think management would have addressed this if it a well know problem.!

Motorized carts are few and far between that work well and with a broken foot I have to use one. Employees regularly standing around gossiping. Shelves rarely labeled correctly. However, cashier's and a few customer service employees are absolutely amazing and always friendly!

The store has not been stocked lately. Cashiers are getting more disrespectable and unwilling to help. I might as well keep going to the Germantown location.

I ordered tires online and set up an appointment for 7am. I arrived at 6:55am. Staff arrived to work at 7:10. The email I received from Walmart about my appointment said if I was 15 min late my appointment would be cancelled but I guess staff can be late with no repercussions. I was checked in and my vehicle wasn’t pulled into the shop until after 7:30.am. My appointment was from 7am until 8am which would give then approximately 30min to change my tires. At approximately 7:40am I was informed by staff that their lift was inadequate to lift my vehicle and they could not do the tire installation. I went into the shop and showed staff how to safely lift my vehicle and they said no. I asked to speak with a store manager and she showed up 5-10 min later and told me I could drive my tires to another location that is approximately an hour away because they have a better lift for proper installation. She also told me that I would have no appointment at that location and that it would be a walk in appointment and I would either have to wait until they had time or drop it off and come back to pick up my vehicle after it was convenient for them to install my tires. It’s Tuesday and I use my vehicle for work. None of the staff seemed to mind that they made me late for work, cost me time and money or that my tires would not be installed at that time. No where on the Walmart website does it say that some locations might not have adequate equipment to do tire installations or that specific vehicles are exempt from installation. Is this not false advertisement? Offering a service they can not provide? This experience has completely tainted my opinion of Walmart and how they operate. I am a small business owner and pride myself with customer service and satisfaction. I guess not all business operate with the same values.
