my daughter started here at 12 weeks. She is my first child, and I was very nervous about starting daycare. This KinderCare has been amazing. They are responsive and so so kind to my daughter. I highly recommend this center!

This has been an awesome center! Their indoor gym is wonderful during the cold winter months to let the kids still get some activity. It is a very convenient location for us. Thank you for taking great care of our kids, we couldn’t do it without you!

Currently our son is at Kindercare and he loves it. All the staff know our names and greet our son happily. He is well taken care of.

We’ve attended this center for over a year and a half, and I have two kids currently enrolled there full time (age 4 and age 12 months). The best thing about it for me is that the teachers here truly love and care about my kids, and I really feel that personal care from each of them. That makes such a difference for me because I want to know that my kids are safe, loved, and happy while I’m working, and we definitely get that here. We stay here for the quality of the teachers. Also, the facility itself is truly beautiful - the building is new and state of the art, and I love that there is a large gym area where the kids can run and play with balls and other gross motor activities on freezing winter days when it’s too cold to go outside. The playground area outside is excellent as well for warm weather months. The communication from the center is great, safe sleep practices are followed, it’s always clean and sanitized, parents wishes and preferences are honored, my kids love going here each day, and overall we’ve been happy with our experience here.

My daughter attended this daycare for a short period of time. It was great at first, then I started to pick up my daughter soaking wet in urine with no explanation. I would have to do complete outfit changes at pickup before leaving the center. One time she was drenched in urine to the point her socks and shoes needed to be removed (by me at pick up). They now have been reported for abuse. I suggest you go to Youngstar and search the centers name and you can read the state licensing reports. Teachers pinning children down on cots to force sleep, dragging children and using horrible language. Awful and so disappointed.

We completed registration and enrollment for our unborn daughter in June 2022, with prospective start date of February 2023. We had been in contact with the center a handful of times before February with no issues. One week prior to our start date, my wife called asking when she could come in and drop off some paperwork and was informed by the center that they were not accepting any more children. When pressed, the center told her that they were short staffed and there wouldn’t be enough staff to accommodate us. This hadn’t been brought to our attention during any previous contact. After speaking with the district manager, she shared that the only Kindercare that could accommodate our child was 12 miles from the center we chose, which was not a reasonable solution.Failure to notify us parents (I am sure my wife and I are not alone) of their lapse in coverage is abhorrent and a sign of mismanagement. Frankly, if we had not called them, we would’ve arrived on the first day to a center not capable of caring for our child and no other options. We were left scrambling to find a place for our daughter. We sifted through numerous different facilities, many of which had 6+ months waiting lists, as is expected, and others which had sub-par care standards. Miraculously, we found one daycare with an opening which only materialized due to another family’s emergency situation. I fear for what other families may have to settle for as a result of Kindercare Capitol East’s incompetence.
