We stayed in lake side spot, it was awesome. Owners extremely friendly and very helpful. The place is immaculate. Awesome playground and places to dock your boat. 30 ft camper fits well on lake spot. Talk about lakefront! Fishing has been great! We loved it!!

The fish approves. It is a pretty nice place to be honest. The area as a whole is almost completely clean. The beach is almost completely devoid of trash, and the four rafts floating there are nice to rest on and the scenery from there is beautiful. Over all I had enjoyed my stay here.:]

What a fantastic campground! Very clean, well kept, nice beach, super cool vintage playground with merry-go-round and other classic pieces. The lake is great for a leisure pontoon ride or fishing. Some great Muskie fishing here too!Owners Wendy and Rick are great! Very personable and it’s clear they want all their guests to enjoy their stay.

Location good, facilities clean, piers for fishing, large play area and sand pile for kids, pleasant owners. Would i stay here again? No. Very few tent areas, most are taken up with modular homes and rvs that are seasonal rentals. I feel like we are tenting in a trailer park and not in a campground.

Awesome hosts right from the get go! They were expecting us , such a friendly greeting when we arrived . Rick helped us guide our camper in the site , as it was a tricky one for the size of our camper ! Very quiet , family oriented camp ground with a sense of history ! You can feel that generations have experienced memories here as well as future generations to come. We found out that this camp ground has been in the family for over 100 years ! For two spontaneous people we were sure lucky to trip into this experience! IRick and Wendy thank you for your hospitality!

Spent 5 restful quiet nights at Weavers. Wendy and Rick were friendly and gracious hosts. We were in a Class A and a tent and both sites were perfect. Nice little lake area with piers for fishing, boat rental and a very nice playground with a large assortment of different equipment. Entire park very clean. Would definitely stay again.

Very disappointed in our stay at Weavers. Pelican lake was a family vacation spot when I was young. We were excited to bring my mom back as a surprise for her 80th birthday. Since Vogels resort is no longer running, we opted for Weavers. Had a long conversation with Wendy about our time there and really was looking forward to this. We rented the cabin and a camping spot by the lake. We were watched the entire time we were there by the owners. They walked around taking notes. We were quiet and respectful. Originally we only were going to bring one dog and at the last minute decided to bring another. One was a miniature wiener dog and we were charged the full $100 for each dog ($200 for both on top of the cabin/camping space rental). We had our dog on the beach and got scolded for having him there however there was another family there with a husky puppy who remained on the beach for hours. The WIFI was intermittent and two of my daughters in college courses (one was taking an exam) has to sit outside on a picnic table in a common area near the public bathrooms in order to get good reception. Stairs to the 2nd floor were treacherous. Curtains were used as doors to the bedrooms and bedding supplied was unclean (one had pen marks all over). Cabin was not ready at 2pm and they kept our security deposit despite us having vacuumed, all dishes done and put away, cleaned windows (from little ones finger prints), and sweeping all floors. They indicated it took an additional hour which exceeded the deposit amount. Not sure if they are taking COVID into account however the cabin was absolutely cleaner than when arrived since there was all kinds of breading left in the windowsill. I did leave Weavers a message and sent an email to return my call to discuss what additional cleaning needed to be done however my call/email was not returned.

...if you like the owners taking notes and watching everything that you do, mattresses that are hard with smelly bedding, a staircase that I am surprised that no one has killed themselves going up or down on. sheets for doors, not returning your security deposit after you cleaned the cabin better then when you were allowed in, heavy equipment running during your vacation... then this cabin is for you! We had 8 adults, 4 over the age of 50 and 4 in the mid 20s and you would have thought that we were going to throw massive parties the way we were watched. Owners have a beautiful house right next to the cabin and now after not getting the security deposit back after I can see why. They charge you extra for every adult over 4 which the cabin can easily fit 10. every dog is 100 dollars extra... that was even charged for my mini dachshund who is 7 Ibs. Cabin is not worth the kind of money they charge. Do yourself a favor and scout out different places, maybe even on a different lake because this is NOT worth the money.
