“I have been going to the Birches resort since I was a young kid, and it has always been my go-to vacation spot. Not only do they serve up delicious drinks, but their pizza is out of this world. It's the perfect spot to sit back and relax after a day of exploring the beautiful lake. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the staff always go above and beyond to make sure you have a great time.What I love most about the Birches is that it offers the best of both worlds. “We just go into town from a 5 hour drive and we’re craving a fish fry. We took a chance because it was late and hungry. We thought they were closed because there was only one car in the parking lot. Surprisingly yes, the kitchen was open. Super quaint and charming inside. Very warm feeling. Staff had outstanding hospitality. Fish fry was superb. Coleslaw was amazing. Pie and cheesecake for dessert. Very pleasant. Would highly recommend. Thank you for refilling my water bottle, as all local stores are closed and too far away.”

“Very rustic so if you're the room service type, keep looking. But for my family, who's been coming for nearly 40 years, it's our respite from the hustle of life. 14 cabins ranging in size and a huge lake frontage on a gorgeous chain of lakes. My wish is that needed updates on the cabins that don't have showers (there are about 4 of them) be made to sustain the business). I'd have to believe the extra cost for these updates would be gladly accepted by us faithful. Pets are welcome, too and my dogs have had the privilege of cabin life one week at a time over their lifetime, which makes me have a peaceful time as well.”
