The one staff member that was working was kinda unapproachable. She was filling a bunch of ballons because another business was out-of helium and had been recommending this location.I brought up the remaining balloon weights since eveyone was being sent there and she said "nope those can go back out on the floor and if people want them they can go get them." They were little hard to find she had to leave behind the counter to show one customer. She also didnt tie my ballons to the weights or offer to help and gave me a ballon with a broken string and pointed out the string broke but gave me the part that broke off as well.

The manager at this family dollar location lied saying she did not know where the supervisors name was. She told me it was posted on the front door which it was not - she ended up looking in the back for the number as well and told my friend she couldn’t find it so gave her districts number instead. My friend didn’t have her pen ready - manager told her “well you should be able to write faster” even though she was the one to continuously stop filling out the complaint form to engage in arguments with my friend.

My friend and I stopped in to shop today at 2017 Jackson Street and while she was trying on shoes a tac went straight through her toe. She was greeted rather rudely by one staff and another who claims to be a manager but will not show proof of her being in that position. My friend asked for a complaint form to fill out and they immediately got attitudes. Once filling out the form, the “manager” stopped writing iseveral times to engage in arguments with my friend who is now late to pick up her kid from baby sitting. The “manager” then verbally told us we will no longer be allowed any Oshkosh Family Dollar and if she is to enter, it will be considered trespassing. Very short tempered, rude and inconsiderate staffing.

Very rude if I could give it a zero i would they accused my friend of stealing and they said they had evidence but when we asked to see it they didn't show us she then said to call cops but she didnt after we said we will wait for them because my friend would never do that it's sad that they accuse every black girl with braids of stealing

If I could rate a zero, I would! On April 13, 2019 at 11:30 am I decide to stop into a store I typically do not stop into. Since it was close by I decided to stop for time sake. I entered the store in my black north face jacket, jeans and my traveling small purse backpack. I went towards the house-wear section and detergent area bc obviously I needed detergent and I saw some cute decor stuff. After I checked the detergent and was looking around house wears, I checked my phone and texted my mom back. Right after that moment a larger white female employee, around her mid 30's, came up to me with an angry look on her face asking me, very unfriendly, if I needed help. I was a little confused because I've literally been in the store for only 5 minutes, haven't even had a chance to get the things I needed. ( just wanted to add that within those 5 minutes of being there, no one was around me, as this store is not a store that typically has a lot of ppl in there). I answered the female employee politely, "no, thank you. I'm just looking" and even smiled. As I was walking towards the middle end isle literally within a minute later the same large white female employee now tells me that she needs to look in my bag. Shocked and confused I told to her to go ahead, that I don't have anything to hide. I would however like to ask to that female employee and to the family dollar corporation, after YOU/YOUR employee searched my bag not once but twice, took out my Michael Kors wallet, Quay sunglasses, $160, my small Pandora gift bag, searched every Pocket and receipt AND even searched my jacket, convinced I was a thief and treated me like I was a criminal. AFTER the stereotyping, racism, profiling, judging, assuming, accusing... After all of that, when she couldn't find what "she thought" I stole... I didn't even get a simple apology, sorry for searching your bag, sorry for stereotyping and profiling you, sorry for treating you like a criminal! She gave me her sad a** excuse that someone had heard packages being open so she had to check "only my bag" (Mind you, I was in there only for 5 minutes with no one around me) and she had no proof of me taking anything! I was a criminal already just by walking into the store. So I want to know, why did she not check the other peoples bag also and only just this Asian girls bag?! Was it because I wasn't white? "Family Dollar Corporation" is this how you train your employees? To stereotype and profile people, show racism, assume they are criminals and not even see the wrong they did? I'm NOT sorry to say... You have lost a PAYING customer.

So nice to go in to the Jackson street Family Dollar and the cashier Courtney is too damn busy on her cellphone to ring me up. Apparently she has no sense of quality customer service. She was obviously put out by having to take a minute out of her precious time texting to smile or even look at me while she tang up my purchase.
