Update: if I could give them zero stats or negative stars I WOULD.
The title was mailed to my daughter’s 2 year old dorm address (she was 16 years old when she lived at said address, entered college early). The university does not forward mail that old and she was a minor when living at that address!
Bergstrom manager: Brandon Spurrier said they would re-file & have title/registration sent to her/our permanent address from the ACTUAL purchase paperwork in 8 weeks.
It’s now been more than that and still NO TITLE OR REGISTRATION!!!
Do not trust them. We bought a car 3/15/24, still no title or registration in the mail.
Old review:
Now windshield has a crack & can’t get it repaired because the VIN registration doesn’t match the plates we transferred to the vehicle! They dropped the ball big time. One job: sell cars & file proper paperwork but apparently they can’t do that.
If we’d been stopped for a violation we could’ve been charged with auto theft! All I have is bill of sale & proof of insurance (on a vehicle that apparently isn’t really mine despite handing over ~$11,000 to Bergstrom).
I’m beyond pissed!

This review is solely on their service center customer service. Long story short my Honda went into anti theft mode due to the key lock cylinder malfunctioning. I had to call my insurance company because we were locked out. My car has an aftermarket ignition and key cylinder for the door because it was a repo car. The person I bought it from had to replace it. First time I called the person said I only assist with scheduling but I'll take down your name and number for someone to call me back. No one did. Even waited since I'm sure they are busy. Second time spoke with someone else who after asked what's going on he said he doesn't think they can work on aftermarket. Well if I'm paying to fix it it might as well be OEM. Anyway he told me to hold on, placed me on a brief hold. He didn't come back on the line I was sent over to voicemail. I left one but have yet to receive a call back. All I need to know is what would be my next steps to fix this or is there a manual way to turn off my anti theft mode until I fix it? Why is this so hard to answer so I can also figure out costs?!!! I'm giving it a 2 star because at least a live person answered.

Bergstrom Honda was by far the best experience I’ve ever had purchasing a vehicle! I worked with Collin and he was amazing, not only did I get a more than fair trade in value they also gave me a substantial discount off the MSRP! There were no games, ridiculous markups or protection packages everything was very easy going. I didn’t feel pressured at all into any decisions, in fact I was able to purchase my 2024 Civic hatchback in less than 1 hour! Can’t recommend this dealer enough.

We worked with Brandon at the Oshkosh Bergstrom Honda dealership and couldn't recommend him more! I told him right away we were not interested in any additional insurance, services, etc. and while he still presented the information he made sure we did NOT feel pressured at all!! I truly wish all car salespeople were like Brandon. Keep up the great work!
