I have been going to Sue for years. I am not a numbers person but she takes her time to walk through what all the number are what that means for me. Sue is passionate about what she does and it shows! I can be assured when they're done with Sue they're done correctly!

I am honestly in tears right now after a horrible interaction with Sue Rawlings. I am trying to get past taxes figured out and taken care of after being in a financially and emotionally abusive relationship. I’m trying to do the right thing and get everything handled and am prepared to fully pay them off. I made an appointment with Sue after she agreed to work with me and told me to make sure I have all my documents in order. She then rescheduled with me. I then asked if we could move the appointment to next week to ensure I have absolutely everything I need and in order for her (she stressed how important this was and indicated that I would be wasting her time if I did not). So of course I wanted to make sure I had everything in order for her. She informed me that she had rethought working with me and was now declining to do so. When I asked why I was told this… That “she does not need my business and would not trust the accuracy of my business numbers.” First of all, she has not met me and does not know anything about me. Secondly she has not seen my tax information or business numbers, so what would lead her to accuse me of being dishonest or the potential that I would give inaccurate numbers. I’m honestly horrified by this. What an incredibly rude and inconsiderate act of judgement against someone you don’t even know! Not to mention an abuse of a position of power over someone else who is earnestly asking to hire her for tax help. I feel completely judged, and discriminated against for what reason? Her assumption that I am dishonest. She does not know me and has never met me! My only goal here is to get my taxes all straightened out. But instead I was judged horribly by an accountant I’ve never met and has not been given my tax information. In essence she has said she won’t work with me because she wouldn’t trust the numbers would be accurate. But she hasn’t even seen the numbers! I am honestly in shock someone locally could treat a potential client in this manner. Shame on you.

The taxes prepared were improperly done and within six weeks received letters from both state and federal indicating additional money as owed.

It was simply a pure pleasure meeting Amy and Sue . Sue is truly a professional at her Tax service and I highly recommend her to anyone needing to file their taxes despite how well you may attempt to achieve it yourself. As I told Sue, it's like having your own personal attorney taking care of such important matters. Great personality and I am looking forward to seeing her again near next tax season.

Sue has been doing my taxes for almost ten years now. She is knowledgeable, flexible, and easy to work with. Before working with Rawlings Tax Service, I tried doing my own taxes and having friends help me, and then I got audited. It was a horrible feeling. Since I've been with Rawlings Tax Services, I haven't heard from the IRS. Sue is current on the IRS's continuing education to make sure I don't hear from them again. Before Rawlings Tax Services, I tried saving money and doing my own taxes with TurboTax but as a small business owner, I always had more questions because of being self-employed than the simple software could provide. Sue and her business Rawlings Tax Services understands taxes. I like that she stays current on the IRS continuing ed certificates. One of very few in the area that do. She's reasonably priced. She gets what its like being a small business owner and she works hard to save me and my business money. Having Rawlings Tax Services do my taxes saves me time, stress, and money year after year. She's worth 10 stars to me and my business.
