I toured awhile ago, the director was unwelcoming and the staff looked unhappy. The facility overall looked cluttered and dirty. Not somewhere I wanted to send my child.

This is being written on the following Wednesday, 6 days after incident:My 2 year old was picked up last Thursday and his mother noticed his cheek area was injured and when she asked the “teacher” her response was “I was just about to ask him” the next day when he was picked up he now had a completely black eye/cheek and they had an incident report for his mother to sign about how he was running around and fell and hit his face on the slide. When I asked how that lined up with the teacher not knowing what happened the day before, the “director” got agitated and rude and then it got 10x worse when she then told me that they did not observe a black eye on my son when he was in their care yesterday (Tuesday, 5 days after incident) and said they do welfare checks on their kids every day so I told her I could bring him in to show her that it is still black and she HUNG UP ON ME! So sad that my son won’t see his friends anymore because of the lack of professionalism and care you would expect to get from a childcare center

My first child has been going to LPA for about 4 Years! Even when we moved out of the area I made sure that I went out of my way to take him to LPA rather than switch schools. Now, my second child who is now 5 months old also goes to LPA! I love the fact that I feel the teachers love my child like their own and that I do not have to worry while I am at work because I know they are being taken care of! I would definitely recommend La Petite in Oregon, WI
