Overall, it was a good hotel. The hotel was a bit dated, but it was clean and had a variety of amenities. Breakfast was a bit limited, but it had the major items that you’d expect. Enough for a quick snack, but likely not a full meal. The pool and hot tub were great.Overall, it was a decent hotel for a small town. I think it checks all the blocks for the price.

The hotel was clean, quiet and nice. There was no real breakfast. The room was clean. There were a few things that were old and could have been updated. I would stay there again.

Welcoming staff, and the cleaning team does an excellent job of keeping the rooms and common areas spic and span. Not upscale, but comfortable and fair priced. The continental breakfast is nice, with waffles on the menu, but would love to see a meat choice added to the offering. Also, and a clock to the pool area. Little things can make a big difference. Check this location out, and tell Paris hello!!

It's not bad, but I've stayed in better. Had a very difficult time getting my keycards to work. The very nice front desk gentlemen came to play around with the locks. There's a trick to it. Lol. The room is clean, and the towels and showerhead should be replaced. The pillows are king-size and flat. Beds are very firm. It's way too firm for me!

We stayed at this Econo Lodge while we were up in the area on the ATV trails. It was a little pricey for the time of year but we understood because it was a packer weekend. There was ample parking for longer vehicles and the rooms were clean and well maintained. The hot tub was the best part, it’s hard to find a hotel that has one that works these days! However, the “continental” breakfast was a joke. You can tell that the owners were trying to cut corners and there were a couple things I noticed that were unacceptable.Usually when toast and peanut butter is provided the peanut butter would come in little individual serving packets or cups. But the owners decided to instead buy two 28 oz peanut butter jars and let the guests share them. However, the guests that lack manners would just take the jar to their table and hog it for the duration of their meal. Sharing a community peanut butter jar is unhygienic and Frankly disgusting. This never would have flown during COVID and I’m surprised no one else has said anything about it. I imagine buying the large jar is cheaper than individual packets but this is a cost of doing business they need to suck up.The waffle maker was set to the proper time (2 minutes and 30 seconds) however the waffles came out undercooked and doughy. I have never had this in all the hotels I have stayed at and I can only imagine why. And no, it wasn’t because I got there first thing in the morning and it hadn’t warmed up yet. The batter seemed a little watery, again, maybe trying to cut costs.I witnessed the kitchen aid replacing the cartridges of juice with brand new ones, however the juice was very obviously watered down. Again, more evidence of trying to cut corners. The milk was also not provided in individual pints, a whole gallon was provided. Again, not really suitable for a continental breakfast. Providing only bananas and no other fruit is kind of a joke, especially since it is the cheapest fruit. The coffee was also watered down. The general theme was that everything provided was watered down or poor quality, almost like they are trying to discourage people from eating here. The container of waffle batter ran out while we were eating so we asked the aid to replace it. It took much longer than it should have, and worst of all, the kitchen aid took the cup from under the spout (that was being used to catch the drippings) and poured it directly into the waffle maker! I know the waffle maker should cook any germs off, but it was still gross to see while I was standing there. We booked this place specifically because it had a breakfast and we knew we needed a quick bite in the morning and didn’t have time to go to a sit down restaurant. We were very disappointed. We arrived late on Friday night (only a few minutes before 10:00pm) and the front desk attendant acted very inconvenienced that he had to stay a few minutes past the end of his shift to check us in. He made it clear to us what a hassle it would have been if we had showed up after 10:00. This was never told to us prior to booking. All in all, I would not recommend this place to anyone that is looking for a breakfast. The rest of the hotel was fine so if the breakfast isn’t important to you it would probably be ok. Oh, and don’t arrive after 10:00pm, God forbid!

Nice staff. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, decent prices. Water pressure in the shower was not great. Otherwise, great stay.

My shower didn't work well. The lodge had slot machines which was great. But the one I played was broken and the front desk person returned my money. Great location, close to the lake where I was

The staff was very nice, our room was clean, it's great they allow dogs, small breakfast consisted of yogurt, bananas, waffles, toast, rolls, coffee and juice. The bed was hard as a rock, we didn't sleep well for that reason. I think this place has a lot of potential if they just did a little updating, get new beds, and more options for breakfast.

Perfect stop before embarking on your UP adventure . Very clean. Staff were nice and very accommodating. They even allowed an early check-in. Which was v gory nice. Pool and hot tub all good to go. Beds are firm but comfortable. I would definitely recommend.

I wish I could give this place a 0 star review. We booked our stay here for our long overdue vacation. When we walked in to check in for our stay the musty mold smell hits you in the face. The guy doing the check in was Barefoot and in pajamas and not friendly. We got our room keys and went to our room and this is where it gets awful. There was stains in the tub and sink. The bed was as hard as a rock and smelled awful. The worst part is I found dead bugs in the room in the lights and on the bed. We immediately checked out and found a new hotel.

Zero stars. Beds feel like laying on a slab of concrete. The hotel receptionist was barefoot behind the desk. Hotel reservation wasn't ready despite giving CC info ahead of time, took 15 minutes to get hotel key. Hotel in general is out of date.
