Update: the removal of dr Jammie unannounced and without reason is unacceptable. This vet clinic was purchased by a corporate entity and has become strictly about the $$ and not the care of the patients
Dr Jammie is the best veterinarian you will ever find. We live 40 minutes south of the clinic but make the trek just for Jammie.

Recently Hometown Veterinary Clinic ended their relationship with their stock animal veterinarian. They sent a letter to all of their stock animal clients letting them know that effective immediately they were no longer providing services to them.
The approach of just abandoning their clients without any type of assistance in finding new care speaks volumes about the commitment this business really has to their clients.

Poorly cause I brought my cat in cause she has a swollen Left cheek and not eating that much and she has the signs of an abscess in her gums/ tooth Root abscess that is . well I brought her in and they didn't even looked at her wouldn't even let me fill out the form for her and so they could see her in right away. all they said was Im supposed to go to Green Bay or Appleton to the emergency room there for her to get help. I'm very disappointed in this veterinary clinic. Why have a clinic for animals if you don't have an emergency room there too

I just had an appointment with a veterinarian that I have no clue who was because he couldn't even have the common courtesy to introduce himself then told me immediately that my dog needs to be drugged up that she's too aggressive without even meeting her maybe if we weren't so rough with her she wouldn't have been so afraid I will never ever see this vet again extremely unprofessional Jamie VerGiesen!! And if the tech taking her blood would've stopped, rolling her vein maybe she wouldn't have jumped and yapped in pain that doesn't make her aggressive that makes her in pain because you couldn't do your job without hurting her

Competent, friendly staff great vets. The visit on 2/14/24 was to euthanize my loving companion. I have had to put two dogs down at other vets and have not been shown the compassion, professionalism and respect that I did at Hometown. They were superb!

Went to them for over 5 years and when I questioned a bill I was told that they weren't going to see us anymore. My dog is diabetic and I asked them to not drop us (we were never rude) Katie said that she would talk to Dr Yatzo and call us back Friday. We didn't hear anything so we called Monday to get another vile of insulin because we only had about 3 days left and they said that they would not give us any insulin and wouldn't be seeing our dog anymore. How can they just cut off a necessary medication for a pet?? That is animal abuse!! We should never feel like we are being held hostage to get the care our animals need. Also found out that appointments every 3 months wasn't necessary and they wouldn't give insulin unless we went to each appointment every 3 months. Found out 1 x every 6 months is all you have to do. Money Hungry Ripoff!! I would never take another pet here even if they were my only option.
