All the veternarians are very nice and professional but the pricing is very high. You can get the same services just about anywhere else for much cheaper.

Brought our new pup there and the male dr was like are you guys starving this thing? It was 13 lbs and in four days it was 24 pounds. He as neutered when i rescued him and was puling up all his food and emaciated and stressed. Then he jammed the shots in hard and my dog was squealing. We changed vets and he got nipped by another dog and even though he didnt have stitches the new vet “recommended” the most expensive powerful antibiotics. Ok fine. He was shitting water the entire time but was healing so ok.
This is where its starts where im done with them
a stupid woodchuck had came into my yard and the dogs start playing with it. My other large dog gets nipped in the face by it and so i trapped the thing. I call them worried and they say its fine and its fine i said are u sure should i come in. No its fine woodchucks dont have saliva glands ans it was in the day its fine. I was like ok
The next day they call like im a criminal and demand that both dogs need to come in and now they are both legally on quarantine.
No realize they didnt tell me to keep or test the woodchuck and my puppy im now concerned about wasnt even nipped/bitten. My dog just had his rabies and wasnt even really touching the woodchuck.
Ao we bring them in and they give my pup ans the other dog rabies shots.
Well my pup started acting weird. He just was down and not himself. Then he started having this weird cough and throwing up occasionally.
Now he is a completely different dog. He eats stuff, he chews on anything in his cage and digs holes in the yard. He is also extremely weird and shy, he puts his ears down and runs away when u call him and if you say bad boy or say come here he runs up and he comes next to you and he pisses even in the house. He was never like this until they forced him to have a second rabies shot even though he never got bit snd they dont even know if the woodchuck had rabies smh. He has been with us since 6 months and he has been a grest lil pup and he was never skiddish and weird and no one has ever hurt hik in thr house so its bs that he is acting like this. He only stsrted this after he got the last shot snd got sick from it. All they care about is money snd protecting their own butts and they have terrible respect for animal owners and following scientific reasoning or procedure. They pretty much ruined my beautiful shepard pup. I will never go back there and i am going to have to try to be there for my dog for the rest of its life unless it changes because he is not the same dog. He is afraid of everything and he is weird now and eats his own poo and he never did that either. He was too young to have that much and instead of testing the animal in question or just giving my other bigger dog one they just made him take another one even though he just got ine a few months ago

2024 update, I have now been bringing my dogs to Prairie Animal Hospital seeing Dr Svang since 2016. She takes such great care of our three dogs, she spends extra time with follow-up to make sure I understand everything. I so highly recommend her and Prairie Animal hospital. 2016-I just started using Prairie Animal Hospital with my boy Louie. I am very impressed with the facility and all the people I have met so far. I will continue with them and and also bring in my other two Chihuahuas when needed. Thank you!

Awesome. Reasonable pricing and great care for our dog. Recently switched from another vet that cared more about money than taking care of my dogs needs. Thank you.

Was very impressed by the care I got when I brought in my dog . We stopped going here after Dr Rabbi retired. We had to get a second opinion on one of our dogs care which made us switch. I was very impressed how things have changed since we were last there. I’m not currently happy with current vet hospital. I think we may be moving back to North Prairie. I really like the vet we just had. They fit us in on a Saturday saved us a trip to Waukesha vet hospital . Thank you for everything!
