I will start off with this. There are two single mothers who are at this facility. They both have 1 baby, having two babies in the facility. There was a lady, who was alloud to be in the lobby ( UNSUPERVISED ) who was clearly not in her right state of mind but all of the staff and workers there felt as if they needed "leave her alone." Imagine you go to a place for closure, security, and a way to get back on your feet, only to see how unsafe, and how uncomfortable that environment makes you feel. The workers are very rude, Gretchen specifically will glare at you, talk down at you, and make you feel as if you are stupid when you are talking to her. When i had passed her walking by in the hall to the lobby, she had given me this ugly smug expression as she was walking by on the phone with someone else. How lovely am i right? No, not at all. Now, imagine you have a son or a daughter getting ready for school, and is now waiting for the bus or their ride in the lobby. There is no one up at the front desk, and in the lobby with your son or daughter is this lady who isnt in her right mind. Imagine she comes up to your kid and starts asking them questions and calling them cute and just being extremely creepy towards them before they go to school, only for the staff members to come out 7 minutes later to tell your kid that they shouldnt be engaging with this not in her right mind lady. After reading all of that, would you really want your children to stay in a place like this, there is a sign on the wall even that states that you need to keep your kids close with you at all times. If there needs to be a sign up, doesnt that say enough already? And i understand that this has to be all alleged because this statement isnt backed up with evidence, but take it from me, i was only there for 1 night before my school had decided that it wasnt a safe arrangement for me and had found a better place for me to go to. Laura will lie to you, she will give you false hope of getting out of there and promise you great things. She told me that i would only be there for a month, and that after that month, her program was going to provide me with my own apartment and she was going to "get you out of here." Hinting that she also knew that, that place was not a safe environment. My case manager was the one who had broke the news to me that there was no apartment. So why was i even there? For shelter? I couldnt live in a place like that and i wondered how anyone else could have either? I had two roommates, and one of them even told me "you come in here sane, you'll leave here insane." All of that in its self should tell you that this place needs some serious fixing or to be shut down all together. It is not a safe place or space for anyone nor their children to go to, the staff are toxic, the people they bring in and js allow to roam free when they should have someone watching them is unacceptable, the way they treat people should not be tolerated and something should be done about this.

Ooof, its a decent place. But the workers and the ones in charge treat you poorly. They give my medicine i paid for to other people. They dont adapt to new ideas and rules to make day to day life better or easier for decent people. I get you cant trust the “druggie” type of people, but what about the decent people who appreciate normal things.

A lighthouse in the storm for those without homes.Breaks many "stereotypes" that go along with homeless shelters usually. Great staff, professional, super clean and lots of gleem! The ladies and volunteers from the local churches and other clubs within the community keep this place what it is as it stands out and above and beyond most other shelters in every comparable aspect.

This place saved me from being homeless during the winter ❄️ !! They have really good programs that can and will help with homelessness. I recommend anyone who is homeless or knows someone who is homeless to check this place out!!!
