I have a chronic illness and have been dealing with pharmacies on a regular basis for many years. I switched to the Walgreens in New London after a move and I am so disappointed because there is issue after issue. I will get a call saying my RX is ready but when I get to the store the Rx isn’t even filled. On several occasions I have had to go though the drive through more than once because they forgot to put some of my medications in the bag. On one occasion they only partially filled my RX and I had to spend hours on the phone before they finally decided to pull the footage and admitted to their mistake but never even apologized for the inconvenience.
Just this morning at 9 I received a call stating my sons medication was ready so I made the half hour drive to the pharmacy only to be told they have a policy in place where they can’t release certain medications before 11am. So here I am sitting in a parking lot waiting for over an hour after being told the RX was ready.
Some of the staff are very friendly but others just seem so stressed out and overextended to the point where I actually feel bad for them. Something is very wrong at this store and while I understand mistakes happen I can’t fathom how there is always something wrong come pickup time. I will be switching pharmacies and I suggest anyone who goes here checks their medications well and has extra time on their hands because errors and mixups are all too common.

They are completely 100% understaffed. the poor people working and the poor customers. it's horrible. the computer system doesn't work properly and it's been like this for years! the answering message on the phone is way too long. drive through is an excellent option to have for me as im handicap but there so understaffed that it's sometimes a 20-30 minute wait. now their hours changed so people have to race there after work. 20 cars backed up and lot full. people can't go on their lunch breaks cuz it takes too long. I could go on forever. I hate this place.

The worst pharmacy I’ve ever been to. Customer service is terrible and the wait time is beyond ridiculous. I won’t be using the pharmacy at this location ever again.

Walgreens app said pick ready 1102.. I had surgery early at 915. After waiting an hour in drive thru was told not ready. mind you it 1230 and lunch break is from 1pm to 2pm and I will need my next dose by then. I said that I'm not leaving and the person at the window said she was calling the police and wouldn't even let me explain anything. so police came I explained everything and he went into store to get my prescription. unfortunately after all this I still couldn't get my prescription filled ( mind you it was to be ready at 1102 according to app) narc safe wouldn't open for some reason. Police was very nice....Walgreens staff not.

They need more help. The wait time on the phone is the same as standing in line. i feel sorry for them all because everybody complains, even dr offices complain. i just made my fourth trip to pick up 1 script and they still dont have it!

I wouldn't recommend this Store to anyone! I called their pharmacy to ask if they sold compression stockings and was told they don't when they actually do. I found them online at this store but called back to verify. I got to the store found the exact pair as shown online for 19.99 were marked 39.99 in the store. I talked toa store employee who gave me a nonsense answer and he called a manager whose name is Ashley. She told me that even though online it shows their store had them in stock for 19.99 i had to order them online to get that price. I could order them and have them shipped to the store for pick up at 19.99 but to just walk into the store and buy them off the shelf they would cost me 39.99. How much sense does that make not to mention Is it even legal.

The pharmacy needs to help the customers that keep asking for the prescriptions to be set up the way the CUSTOMER is asking. Weeks later it still is not getting done even after 3 or 4 conversations!!

This is the closest place in the New London area that you can send and receive Western Union money orders( up to $300), as opposed to having to go all the way to Appleton. I am pleased that they have this service here, as well as pharmacy, convenience items, and a photo service.
