Hoesly's Meats is a staple in New Glarus for over two decades, known for its award-winning sausages and custom meat processing. It offers a large selection of Swiss-style sausage and brats, available fresh or frozen, as well as seasonal venison processing for hunters. The shop also provides custom butchering for farmers and is a great stop for steaks, chicken, and beef sticks. Customers find it a great butcher shop with excellent, clean processing and great cutting and packaging. The staff is always friendly, knowledgeable, and super nice to deal with. Highlights from the retail case include regular hot dogs, described as tasty and a lot cheaper, Canadian bacon for pizza and breakfast, and a variety of brats, German sausage, cheeses, and mustards. The shop is a sweet stop-off place for some great meats, highly recommended by locals and hunters alike.
Great family run business. Plan ahead if you want something processed. They are good and in demand.

Can’t go wrong with anything from here. I love the black pepper bacon ends and pieces. They are chunks of deliciousness. I cook them slow until they are crispy.
