I've taken a few classes here so far and have learned so much. Each instructor was extremely patient and helpful and helped me make some beautiful pieces. The people working at the store were also so friendly and helpful. I love that they offer classes here and help build the community.

They have a good selection of off cut exotic woods and some bigger sizes of domestic hardwood. Way better selection than the big box stores. The staff seemed nice and asked if I needed help a few times. I knew what I was looking for, so I didn't require help. It's still good to know they are around just in case.

I am writing this review as a last-ditch attempt to restore my support of this store. First off, I want to say that all of the regular staff members have always been kind and courteous. My gripe is that I purchased a woodworking fundamentals class 4 years ago that was cancelled due to COVID lockdown and I still haven't been able to get a refund (or allowed to attend a current class without further charge). I have called every few months for the last 3 years or so and have been told that the regular staff wasn't authorized to make a decision on a refund or scheduling me into a new class. Each time, they have taken my name and number and told me a manager or owner would call me to make this right but I still haven't received a call. I hate using Google reviews to complain about this, but it's been years and I am sick of calling every few months for an update.

My 15 year old son and I took the Introductory Woodworking course and it was a great experience. Ken, the instructor, was extremely patient, encouraging and thorough through the entire 3 part class. We got hands on experience with a jointer, planer, radial arm saw, table saw and router. I highly recommend this class.

The customer service here is beyond awful. If you like being condescended by old men, then this is the place for you. Nobody knew what they were talking about, despite the fact that this place is supposed to be about expertise. Their employees are in dire need of training in how to be helpful and courteous. The ONLY helpful person was the lady at the front counter. All the dudes there when I went a week ago were useless.

Walked in to see what this place was all about.Well.. it's woodworking... from beginner tools.. to advanced high end tools, and everything in-between. Pen and pencil turning kits.. epoxy.. glue, sandpaper, chisels, dust collection, exotic wood, basically everything you need or want... all in one store. Staff greeted me as soon as I walked in and respected my request to just walk around and soak it all in.

Great experience! Denise was happy to help even though I came in with just an hour to closing. She was very knowledgeable of the Festool sander I purchased, and when we found the loaded sandpaper Systainer was out of stock, she loaded the empty sandpaper Systainer to the same amount of paper and charged the same price as the loaded one! I will certainly be back!

I visited this store yesterday to find some replacement cabinet hinges and, hopefully get some advice on touching up some worn spots around kitchen cabinet knobs. I don't visit very often and, as others have said, my experience has been hit or miss. This visit was sort of a miss. They had what I needed, but the guy who waited on me seemed irritated with my questions and was civil, but hardly courteous. I do give Woodcraft credit for having a well organized, good selection of products.

This store is very hit or miss. The staff is friendly but typically not helpful. A common response to questions tends to be “youtube it”. The prices at this store are high and the value comes from talking with someone with expertise in the field. If this cannot be offered I am better off ordering online. The store does sell quality products, but so do online stores that charge less.
