Good sales, able 2 pull up a coupon w my charged coupon and that generated additional rewards. I could have saved more had I ordered online but I like the in store experience. Ppl used to come in for classes, mabie busier on evening & wknds?

Line was completely wrapped. Someone politely asked if the 3 people on floor if one could hop on a register and the manager was beyond rude to her then she had one person take over for her and she went on break.

We went to Hobby Lobby first. BIG MISTAKE! We had a custom art piece made as a Christmas gift and needed a custom mat cut to frame it At Hobby Lobby, we waited over 45 minutes only to get home and find out that the mat was junk and completely unusable. The size was off (art work fell right through the mat!) It wasn't even straight on the top edge! It was a total mess. So, we needed a new custom mat cut ASAP and I was not going back to them. It was not Michaels fault but we need it same day. Once at Michaels we met Christine. She was wonderful! She not only cut the mat in under 5 minutes, it was cut correctly and worked out perfectly. She even taped it to the mat do all we had to do was pop it in the frane. She was a true professional and she saved the day. We can't thank her enough. She went above and beyond and our gift turned out beautiful!

Plus side good selection of items to pick from for any type of project that you may have Bad side depending on the item etc. you can most likely find it cheaper elsewhere Overall this location is a good to choice to wander without any problem what so ever

Michaels is a wonderful craft store you will find all you need there. They often have sales on the things you need they give out lots of good deals and coupons. They have more than just crafts they have decorations for every holiday and every season. They have wonderful picture frames and toys. The staff are very helpful and friendly. I love Michaels it has just about everything I need.

Nice and friendly staff. They have pretty much every craft covered. I enjoy the seasonal selections and the $1 section. The $1 section has blank greeting cards/thank you notes, stationary, and other fun, random gifts. There are usually some good clearance and sales going on. This is in an area with a lot of businesses and restaurants in the area so after craft shopping, knock out a bunch of errands and grab a quick bite to eat!

Do not ever go to Michael's for their framing scam. There are many wonderful local places who don't charge $600 for framing, with a, "get 50% off". If you want to throw away money for quick framing and inexperienced staff than this is the place. I'm getting disappointed by a few of the store locations atmosphere and selections as well. Though they do have some good baskets.

An ok craft store -- one in which I find myself lost in finding the exact thing I need owing to the large selection of items. Michaels has always been that way for me. They carry everything you need whether your hobby is scrapbooking, decoupage, needlepoint, knitting, etched glass, or beadwork among all the other likely things. It's easy to spend more time than you have and more money than you want here. Despite having something for everyone, I still find Michaels difficult to navigate for finding that one item for starting or finishing a project. In addition, I find it a bit more pricey than other places of the same ilk, but having everything in one spot gives it an edge. During seasonal clearance, you can really find some good deals on stock they're trying to clear. I've found some great Christmas clearance items as late (or as early) in the year as July and August. Overall, this chain has been around for years and really knows how to stay up on the trends. I like this store for giving me ideas and a broad overview of what is available, but unless it's something unique, I can do better elsewhere for pricing.
