It also needed a new battery.Dominic buffed all of the scratches out.It looks like it did when I purchased it over 30 years ago.Our anniversary is next week. They didn’t have any in stock that were what I was looking for, but he had one custom done in a few weeks that was everything we discussed!”
“Took my idea for a pendant, as a gift for my wife, to celebrate our 50th Wedding Anniversary and asked if they could come up with a design. The design was more than a WOW! It has details on it that are unbelievably beautiful. My wife was amazed and happy at what was created. It definitely is a "one of a kind" creation.

“With the price of gold as high as it is, I brought some old jewelry here to sell. The gentleman is as honest and fair and genuinely pleasant as all the other reviewers say. This was a great experience. Some jewelry had a little bit of sentimental value (although the $ value outweighed that). This gentleman is friendly and kind. He explained everything about what I had, what it is worth retail, what he will do with it, etc. I know he gave me the highest price of any other dealer in the Racine-Milwaukee area. It was nearly an hour drive and totally worth it. You can't do better than doing business here.”

“Bought my wife’s ring over a decade ago and the jeweler that we had the “lifetime” warranty through went out of business. Took the ring to a big box jeweler and they said they couldn’t touch it because it wasn’t their ring. Walked into Powers and was quickly greeted by Keith. After explaining my situation that the main stone had fallen out and I was out of options, he swiftly described the steps needed to repair the ring. The work was done in a timely fashion and I felt the price was extremely fair. Happy wife…happy life. They will have all of my future business.”

“I’m beyond grateful for running across Mid Continental Gems. My mother in law was looking to get some old rings fixed that had a lot of sentimental value. Other jewelers I took it to quoted me and arm and a leg. Mid Continetal was beyond reasonable and you could feel the small business family owned feel. The care and respect they have for each individual piece that they work is greatly appreciated. I received the two rings back and couldn’t even tell where they were originally broken.
