Its not always the salon, its the hairdresser. In this case, its the owner/hairdresser, I believe her name is Patty (Ive tried to erase the whole experience) The hairdresser was rude, condescending, insulting, mean, and actually embarrassing to her self and the profession. She didnt want to listen to what I wanted (which was a basic layered haircut), and told me that it wasnt her "style" to give me that. I would think what ever cut you would pick out, should be attempted (at least), even if they arent crazy about it....isnt that what shes there for? She did give me a haircut, (first a really rough shampoo) and asked me if I wanted it styled. At that point I was so upset at the way she was handling things, I wanted to jump out of my chair. But I didnt, only because I thought maybe there was a slim chance she would make it all better. It didnt. I left upset, angry and very hurt emotionally. I would never recommend anyone going to her to have their hair done.
