Sand Valley is by far the most gorgeous, friendly, and affordable golf resorts I’ve ever been to! The grounds were pristine, the staff were always willing to help and kept a smile on their faces. The lodging was impeccable, and the food was amazing from the restaurants to halfway houses on the course.
The caddies made us feel so welcomed, were very knowledgeable, and extremely encouraging. Special shout out to our favorite caddies Josh and Joseph because that duo is second to none.
Dan the man was the go to guy on the resort and could answer any question you had and accommodate any request you could fathom.
This golf resort was the best experience I’ve ever had, and I will definitely be back to visit.

Just left Sand Valley and cannot wait to return. The golf was spectacular, especially the new Sedge Valley, and the accommodations at the Wisconsin Suite were wonderful. But I really wanted to write this review to compliment our restaurant servers, especially Patricia, Katerina and Caafe. The entire staff of Sand Valley is top notch, but these 3 women made the dining experience something to remember.

Sand Valley is a mecca for golfers and outdoor lovers. The vast landscape of sand dunes, fescue, and perfectly manicured golf courses is breathtaking. Stayed in a King lodge room in Dunes Lodge. Rustic exterior with a beautiful walk in shower, double vanity, supportive bed, and a foyer for putting on shoes and storing clubs. Well stocked with water for thirsty golfers. Plenty of hiking trails and biking trails as well as lakes for fishing. Shuttle busses take patrons around the resort and have friendly drivers with restaurant recommendations and cold towels. The service from bag drop to restaurant wait staff to golf staff is top notch. Try the pork shank at Mammoth Bar or Aldo's (on both menus), $1 tacos at Craig's Porch, $3 ice cream sandwiches, or the meatballs at The Gallery. Will be back!
Rooms: Rustic but modern. Beautiful walk-in showers, spacious bathrooms, comfortable beds, and great views of thr courses and surrounding vistas.
Nearby activities: Golf, hiking, biking, fishing, and more!
Safety: Perfectly safe in the middle of Nekoosa.
Walkability: Resort is walkable but shuttles are air conditioned with friendly drivers to take guests around the vast property.
Food & drinks: Plenty of options ranging from dirt cheap snack bars to high-end farm to table and Italian options.

We came and played grass tennis and it was really great. They let us use some great rackets and the grass was fun. We had a nice lunch at the main mammoth bar, Caesar and cheese curds were fantastic. This is a great spot in central Wisconsin. Didn’t golf.

It is not descriable in words, you have to witness the beauty in person. I haven't been but it has to be the closest thing to Augusta in Wisconsin.

Absolutely gorgeous golf courses and still pretty affordable. They bent over backwards to make sure we had what we needed to bring our baby with us to the resort — special shout out to Jessica who was just a ray of sunshine in the experience.
Some suggestions: Resort should invest in some duvets/better bedding. I expected more from the beds and sheets. Also, they should look into a little more variety at the restaurants. Additionally, once they have enough visitors, also strongly recommend adding some spa species — massages and nails. Just basics.
But overall, we loved it and will definitely be back.
Mammoth dunes was my favorite of the courses and also want to give a shout out to Goose who was one of our favorite caddies ever. He made even the tough holes fun.

Sand Valley was absolutely amazing.
The level of service from everyone to the starters to the waiters/waitresses is outstanding. Course conditions were 10/10.
Our group really appreciated this level of care we got at the price we paid. Can always respect a business with this level of dedication and not price gouging their customers for $350+ rounds. This course/facility was better than any $400+ round location our entire group has played
