Our neighborhood mailbox was hit by a car a while ago, and there have been no updates on when it will be fixed. In the meantime, we’re being forced to pick up our mail from the post office, and they’ve also stopped delivering packages to our doors.
I went to the post office because I thought one of my packages had been delivered there. The first employee I spoke to—an older gentleman whose name I didn’t catch—retrieved my mail, but he seemed irritated from the start. When I mentioned I believed I also had a package, he looked even more annoyed, but thankfully another worker offered to check for it.
While waiting, I asked the first employee if there was any update or someone I could talk to regarding the damaged mailbox. He seemed frustrated by the question, but said he’d go ask. I didn’t understand why this was such a problem—many of us in the neighborhood are concerned.
The second worker came back and said the package wasn’t there. Shortly after, the first guy returned and explained that everyone who receives mail at our cluster box has to agree before they can proceed with repairs. I asked if we all needed to call or visit the post office individually, and just then, someone else (the manager, though I unfortunately forgot his name) stepped in.
This man deserves serious appreciation. He took the time to explain the situation thoroughly, after informing him that about 18 homes are affected. (It seemed this was the first time he was hearing that many people were involved) He even shared a similar experience from his own neighborhood. He said he would personally look into the mailbox issue and let me know whether we needed to contact our landlords, since many residents are renters and haven’t received any information.
I offered to put up a sign on the broken mailbox encouraging neighbors to call the post office and give their approval to get it fixed. Another neighbor mentioned we may need to get individual mailboxes, which would also involve our landlords.
The manager assured me that my package would be delivered to my door moving forward and took down my name and number so he could follow up. He was kind, patient, and incredibly helpful—and I told him how much I appreciated his time. I plan to update this if I hear back from him.
What bothered me, though, was what happened as I was leaving. I overheard the first employee telling the manager he was “sorry for wasting his time on that situation,” referring to me—as if I were being a problem. I was polite and respectful the entire time; I just wanted to understand what was happening with our mail.
All we want is communication and a solution. It costs nothing to be kind and understanding—like the manager was. That attitude makes a huge difference, and he truly deserves recognition for handling the situation with grace.

Went to get a passport. The young lady behind the counter couldn't have nicer and more helpful explaining everything in the process. My hat's off to her

Was a little busy and we were waiting in line. This lady was super rude and while we were trying to get the information, she said move out of the way so I can help the next person. Super rude and was not nice at all. Very racist as well. Not going back!!

Do not send anything with a value of over $100.00. I sent a package to someone that I sold on EBAY and the package was lost or stolen. The package content was worth $140.00 dollars. I put in a claim with USPS and they will only give me $32.00. The insurance on the package was $100.00. So I am out alot of money. They are a joke!

Tbh this post office deserves the rating it has. Parking lot sucks, employees are nice but incompetent, and there's always a line. Thankfully I'm usually only there to check PO boxes.

I had an appointment here to apply for my first passport. I was a little nervous based on other reviews, but it ended up being a great experience. Steve was a pleasure to work with and had no problem walking me through the steps/explaining things to me. Even with me being new to the process I was in and out in 15 minutes. If you need to apply for a passport, I definitely recommend coming to this post office!

Just a bad experience all around. I went there due to a package being held with a status of “preparing for delivery”. Not sure why they only had 1 clerk with a line almost out the door. While I was waiting in line the clerk was very rude to everyone. When I got up to here she was rude to me as well. Apparently the package had the wrong address on it and she blamed me for the whole thing then wanted to charge me for the inconvenience. I won’t be going back here unless absolutely necessary. Treat people with respect or better yet don’t work in customer service if you can’t control your attitude.

The carriers are always nice, but our mail is frequently wrecked. We have talked in person with the post office, but the issue keeps happening. I understand the route we are on has new carriers working on it, and this isn't the swankiest neighborhood, but come on. Have some respect. Not sure if the damage is from handling along the way or if it was jammed into the box. We have also had mail arrive weeks after the post date. The entire USPS needs to do better.

Went to handle an issue with mail not being delivered. I called the call center and they addressed to go in and chat with the local office. The lady at the front desk with short curly hair was the absolute rudest piece of work. Snarky and snippy when I explained what the call center told me. I'm not sure who pissed in her coffee. When I asked to see if stuff was being held she gave an eye roll and asked for my info then walked away without saying anything. I wish I could give her 0 stars and have her look at her career choices cause customer service isn't her cup of tea.

Most incompetent postal office I have ever had the pleasure of working with. The carriers were obviously not trained as most of our mail is jammed in our mail box with no care. I have received mail that is not mine, magazines that are destroyed, newspapers that are crumpled up, and much more. Do better.

The staff at the post office is wonderful, but I can’t say the same for the carrier that comes to my apartment building in fox crossing. Namely cold spring villas. He’s rude and is always short with me and other tenants. I went to go pick up a package yesterday in my mailbox, which I had a notification saying it’s been delivered. Also I had other mail I was expecting. Nothing. Mail carrier was just sitting in his vehicle about to drive away! I got his attention and asked about my mail. “Oh I was about to deliver …” yeah, sure you were ?If I had not gotten his attention he would’ve drove off without delivering my package and mail! This isn’t the first time he’s been rude to me and other tenants. I’d like to see him replaced with a far nicer mail carrier.
