The only reason they are getting one star is because I cannot give 0. This bank has repeatedly let me down for years now. I continually had issues using my debit card attached to my checking. I don't know if my account is flagged for fraud, but I repeatedly got calls throughout the week from an automated line asking if my transactions are legit. It is a long process to approve my transactions in question, and quite frankly, super annoying. If you don't approve, they lock your card. I have updated my mobile settings numerous times. I have spoke to the branch manager. Nothing changed. It became such an inconvenience to use my bank account/debit cards, even though I had talked to them about this repeatedly. My daughter attended college in Downtown Milwaukee and has been stranded because she has tried to use Lyft or Uber to get home and it won't go through her account as well. I have never dealt with anything like this in my entire life! I realize that fraud, phishing and hacking are real issues, but this is completely ridiculous. And unsafe!I was traveling a few weeks ago and gave them a head's up before leaving that I was going to be out of the country and to make CERTAIN I would be able to use my debit card. They said no problem. My card was declined for 3 days. When I was finally able to get a hold of someone after a federal holiday on a Monday, the man that I spoke to on the phone was extremely rude & ambivalent and said it "should be fine" and "I should have no problem using my debit card." I asked to speak to a branch manager and I was transferred to someone's voice mail. I tried to use my card again after making a second call. It still did not work. I could not use my card the entire time I was on vacation in a different country! How mortifying!When I got back, I opened bank accounts elsewhere. Researched the best banks to use when out of the country and found that Chase was in the top 5. When I went to close my bank accounts this past weekend at BMO, no one asked why I was doing so. Horrible customer service! And in turn, not only did they close my 2 bank accounts, they closed my daughter's bank account as well! Why would they close my daughter's bank account when she is a grown adult?!? So once again, my daughter was stranded last night after they inadvertently closed her bank account! Seriously?!? Completely absurd.None of this is acceptable in any way, shape or form. It absolutely blows my mind that a bank of this size is this awful. Extremely unhappy with this whole experience. I highly suggest investigating other banks before opening any accounts here.

Horrible service! I have a business account with them and in five months of calling and going into the branch nobody is capable of setting up payroll but every month I get hit with numerous fees for an account I can’t pay my employees with which was the whole purpose of opening up a business account. When you ask what the fees are for they tell you they don’t that they’re gonna look into it and then I never get a call back. They don’t even have a branch manager at the Muskego location! Needless to say I’m taking my business elsewhere!

I don't think I can say enough about Katielynne Silva. Any issue I have, she goes out of her way to make sure it is cleared up immediately. I have experienced several unfortunate events such as receiving fraudulent checks and credit cards being stolen but I know she is just a call away and will put it at ease. She provides excellent customer service as my entire family loves working with her. This girl is the best!

Katielynne Silvia (Retail Relationship Banker)... Can't say enough. She's an exceptional, knowledgeable banker and goes out of her way to help me in any way she can. I like the BMO-Muskego branch as a whole, but they are TRULY lucky to have her as an employee.

I have banked here for a few years and have been very displeased. While the people are nice, and well-meaning, there has been significant turnover, and I have experienced several very odd things. 1) i was sent a credit card for my business which did not have my name on it- just the name of the business. The manager (who looked about 22 yrs old) who did this was let go not long after this. 2) TWICE, money was taken out of our account by a different person with an entirely different account number. No explanation other than confusion was given for this. Of course they corrected the error, but then it happened again! They corrected it again, and apologized, but... wow. If this hadn't been caught, my belief is that we would have just been out the money. This leads me to believe they may have an insecure process, poor employee training, and/or lax management. I do not recommend this branch of BMO Harris.
