These are very nice people and the chair I bought is relatively nice, but for $3,500 I don’t expect this switch to keep on breaking. I’m tempted to buy a standard $5 switch and put it in myself. I would never buy anything mechanical from them again. My time is precious and this chair is dangerous for my 5 year old daughter. I was worried about it just automatically closing and crushing her when she’s on it. I honestly can't remember but now they have to come out for either a fourth or fifth time to fix the same problem. If I had known it was going to be this much of a problem I would have went to Home Depot bought a $3 switch and put it in.

I had the best service while shopping for a Stressless elevator ring for my mothers chair. I am located in another state and had sent inquiries to several businesses. After I sent my inquiry to Hansens I received a personal phone call to ensure that I was measuring the chair correctly. The ring shipped out the following day. Other retailer were quoting 4-6 weeks. Additionally, Hansens sent emails providing me with tracking information. If I am ever in WI I will definitely visit their store.

Looking for a place that carries fine furniture? Furniture that will last, that's made with generations in mind? Those kind of store hardly exist any longer. Hansen Interiors is one. Classic Danish at its finest. And the staff is so very helpful.
