Lisa and her flowers have been present for many events in my life, birthdays, anniversaries, and now most recently, my wedding! Lisa is an absolute joy to work with and made my wedding dreams come true. We wanted a very floral-forward design, and she knocked it out of the park. Hiring Lisa is truly like hiring an artist for commission – you present the vision, and she will make it her own. Trusting her to put together our wedding florals was such a good choice because they truly turned out so beautifully. We loved that Lisa respected our request to avoid hot house flowers and work with what was locally in season as much as possible, including additions from the small prairie on her family’s flower farm. Our florals were colorful and abundant but still earthy with a homegrown feel, which was exactly what we were looking for. We can't say enough good things about Lisa and Sunborn Gardens! They did the flowers for our wedding, and everything was STUNNING. From the start, they totally got what we wanted and made the whole process super easy.
The bouquets, centerpieces, and all the little floral touches were unbelievably gorgeous. The flowers were fresh, vibrant, and exactly what we envisioned. Lisa has an amazing eye for detail and really knows how to make everything look perfect together.
The team was fantastic to work with—so friendly and professional. They were always quick to respond to our questions and super flexible with any last-minute changes. You could tell they genuinely cared about making our day special.
Our guests couldn't stop raving about how beautiful the flowers were. Lisa and her team made our wedding day even more special, and we’re so grateful for their incredible work.

Hiring Lisa and the Sunborn team to do our wedding florals was the best decision we could've made. What Lisa does is art, and her work speaks for itself, but even though I had the highest of expectations, I was still moved to tears on my wedding day. We hired Sunborn Gardens as our florist for our wedding (centerpieces, bridal bouquets, corsages, boutonnieres, decorative statements throughout our venue, etc.) in September 2023. Lisa and her team went above and beyond! During the planning process, Lisa was extremely communicative, and after one phone call of discussing details, ensured that our Fall wedding vision came to life with local and seasonal floral arrangements. Lisa thought of every detail and made our day stress-free and extremely special! We highly recommend using Sunborn Gardens for your wedding day and supporting a small business!

We used Sunborn Gardens for our wedding (Oct 2023) and I can't say enough about Lisa and the Sunborn team. Our venue looked GORGEOUS with the colorful flower arch and incredible table centerpieces. Our boutonnieres, corsages, and bouquets were colorful and perfect for every person in our party. Multiple guests stopped us during the night to ask for the name of our florist so they could reach out, and how incredible the flowers looked is one of the things that folks have continued to talk to us about weeks after the event. Sunborn was great to work with, professional, easy to communicate with, and their artistic vision matched exactly what we wanted and gave us florals beyond what we could even imagine. We hired Sunborn Gardens to do our wedding florals for our wedding this month (June). Lisa was super responsive to all of my questions and really easy to work with. I gave her a few inspiration pictures but did not give many details beyond that and just trusted her to make something beautiful. The bouquets turned out better than anything I could have imagined and they fit perfectly with the rest of our wedding. We were beyond pleased.We also ordered a bucket of blooms to help decorate our reception venue. These florals were also florist choice and we could tell they were very intentionally chosen and they matched the rest of our florals.Lisa and her team were really easy to work with and they even came into the shop 3 hours before they opened so we could pick up our flowers early on our wedding day.Would recommend 100%.

We used Sunborn Gardens for our February 2023 wedding and man were we BLOWN AWAY. Please, just hire them for your wedding or other events, you will not be disappointed!Sunborn Gardens got back to us immediately and in a timely manner. Everything was thoroughly explained as far as their services. There were so many times over the two years of planning that I would forget even what we had decided for florals and Lisa always responded so kindly (and never made me feel crazy even though I’m sure it seemed that way :) ). Besides some color choices, we really felt like we let Lisa and her team go off their own vision and they DELIVERED. It was so exciting seeing what they came up with the day of the wedding. We have absolutely zero complaints.In addition to all this, we also rented candles through this company and they were absolutely stunning. It was so easy to just do that instead of buying them ourselves and figuring out how to set it up.Although we were a winter wedding, we love what Sunborn Gardens stands for in the warmer Wisconsin months-sustainability and environmentally conscious products and designs. I know that typically they source flowers locally and have a large organic flower farm of their own. Couldn’t ask for anything better!Lastly, we felt the pricing was VERY affordable for what we got. Sometimes wedding costs can seem absurd or overwhelming but this was very reasonable for us. The flowers were so beautifully put together and it was all 1000% worth any money. Lisa even put out paper bowls for guests to grab flowers to bring home if they wanted. At the end of the night we brought leftover flowers to a hospice home and they were greatly appreciated :)Can’t recommend this business enough!
