How can a company lose track of their customer(s) and say they have no record and that it would take 30-40 days for a refund!!?? Ashro have. I placed an order mailed $60 check on 8/22/23, and items were shipped 8/29/23. Once received, I returned items back the next day 9/6/23 for I wasn't satisfied & requested a refund. On 9/25, I asked about my refund & was told by rep item was received on 9/19. I would get $13 refund, which would take a week!!!!?? Really, $13! Followed up on Oct 3rd rep, made no request/notations to the accounting department! I was told it'll take 30-40 days for my refund!!! Unbelievable! No more dealings with this company.

You sent me an unsolicited catalog, I can only assume by a weird version of racism, and my woman threw the catalog at me and yelled" who you buying clothes for? What's her name? Oh you want a black woman now ?" Can't get anyone on the phone , you won't even answer it . Y'all are 6.5 hours away, and I'll be driving it since I got kicked out cuz y'all sending me stuff I never asked for. Contrary to my name you can see , I didn't request your catalog, didn't even know you all existed as a company.

Very DissapointedI bought 4 pair of boots and rcvd them today all were priced from $84 - $99. What a difference a picture make. All of the boots were VERY CHEAP looking not worth the price at all and one pair was made in China that one was the highest priced at $99. I could not believe how cheap they looked for what they charge. I can go to JCpenny and get a boot of the same caliber for $39. I keep saying I am going to stop shopping at Ashro because they are expensive and the quality of clothing is not worth what they charge; therefore, they will not be getting money anymore. I returned all 4 pair - I can get a good leather boot for the price they charge. I would post pics but the pic make the boots look rich - you'd have vvtto see them in person to see the quality. They declined to post my review on thier site so I will post here!

I ordered the *********** and Shelf from them which they advertise incorrectly up until June 6. After which time they separated the set (quadrupling the price) after I ordered and received confirmation from a customer service representative that the other portion of my item was on the way (on June 4). When I tried to call on June 9th and determine where my item was I was told all I ordered was the shelf. Their customer service representative ******* continued to tell me repeatedly that I had two options 1) buy the other portion for an additional $169 (which is also back ordered until July 30) or 2) return the item for a refund of the cost of the item but not for the shipping which was half the cost of the product. I am in shock that a company can get away with this kind of robbery.

After reading all of the 1-star reviews, because zero stars is not an option, I no longer feel alone in my disgust with this company. In 2013, my husband and I opened an account with the Montgomery Ward division of Colony Brands with a $500 limit. We bought one item - one - a sort of sofa whose legs were not properly aligned and never laid flat on the floor. It would have been too much of a hassle to set such a large item back so we kept it, with no offer from the company for a solution of any kind. We still owed the money, and we fought with them against the charges for a defective item. What happened? They reported us as owing $90 to them because they claim we missed a payment, even though we were arguing over this sofa. This year, my husband passed away. Does that matter to Montgomery Ward? NOPE. They're still looking for the $485 for that sofa, and it's still on my credit report. I called to ask about taking care of this, as enough is enough. They said I had to put my request in writing - they don't do anything online (bc it's only 2021, you know). So I did. They offered a pittance of a reduction in the settlement (20% 'off'). I accepted (just to get this out of my life) and before I had the chance to set in the cashier's check, they reported my account as a charge-off - SIX YEARS after the fact. It just dropped my score 30 points. They agreed to report the account as paid in full and done with. Nothing was every discussed or written about a charge-off and to do that after all this time, never mind everything else. I'm worried about sending in my cashier's check bc I don't know if they will update my credit reports ethically, especially when nothing about them and the way they conduct their business is ethical. This Company is the worst. They have plummeted me in a year long stress induced disaster. I ordered a product in June of 2020. Did not receive confirmation of shipment. Contacted the company about my order. At first they did not know of my order, took forever to figure out that I had placed an order. Found my order and then told me that the item was back ordered. They said the item would not be available until December. I told them to cancel my order, received a confirmation number of that. On November 24th I received an email stating that they shipped the item (that I cancelled) to an address that the gift recipient no longer lives. I called them right away to explain to them that I had canceled that order months ago, they shipped it anyway without my approval. The intended recipient never received it as if she no longer lives at the address. They could not for whatever reason, figure out how to make it right. After several calls and promising that the issue was taken care of. I was forced to dispute it with my credit card. Once that happened I didn't hear anything from them for a while then I received a letter stating I still owed a ****. I called again wasting hours of my time doing this whole entire process, and again told me that they had it resolved. Received another confirmation number to that effect. I received another letter stating I did not pay them. So I called again this is now almost a year later and they said I owed them the money for the amount of the item that should have never been shipped. Now I'm furious they're no help. Finally they disclosed to me that they had credited my account after, months after, My credit card disputed the charge. That I owed them this money because they paid me plus I received a credit. An accountant error. They should have never done any of this. They have cost me time energy stress anxiety high blood pressure you name it I've experienced it. The last letter they sent me was from their internal collections department. I pay my bills on time therefore this caused me much stress. They forced me to pay them again, in fairness, pay them for the credit that they sent me that they were not supposed to send me. However I do not feel like I was treated fairly I was completely ignored. My frustrations, my anxiety, and my stress, my time meant nothing to them. They created this problem they made me fix it. I should not have to clean up the mess of a corporation. I DON'T WORK *** YOU! I'm an individual I should be treated with respect my time should be respected. The manager *******, the last person I spoke with was very considerate even though I was very angry. And I have to give her credit for handling my frustrations as well as she could. However they offered me no resolution, no compensation for my time and my energy and they offered me nothing but a coupon for a company I will NEVER purchase from again. They kept saying I owed a **** that I did not owe they made me feel like a delinquent when I did not owe them any money for the product. They were not clear with what they were saying to me and I just felt like they were trying to get money for something that I should I did not have to pay for. The letter never stated the accountant made a mistake in crediting me the money, and they never treated me anything other than a delinquent customer. I do not appreciate that and I refuse to be satisfied with how they handled the situation. I should be compensated. I should not have to clean up their mess. I'm still very angry and very frustrated, do not do business with these people. If you know what's good for you. It's truly not worth it.I have more **** hair, high blood pressure and a headache! Unacceptable behavior from a company. The one star, since I have to give it, is for *******. She at least apologized and understood. Not good enough, however. I really feel disrespected and hours upon hours of my time wasted. Shame on you, for putting me through this, MW. "

1 star because 0 isn't an option. MONROE & MAIN is a ****. I ordered quite a few items, and when they arrived, they are clearly Chinese sizing. All the items but 3 were too small. I returned all but $90 in merchandise. Monroe & Main never updated my statement to reflect two of the returns. They are threatening to report me to credit bureaus for $240 when I kept less than half of that in merchandise and they REFUSE to send me a statement showing the charges, returns, and fees so that I know exactly what I am paying for, and they refuse to process the remaining returns, Beware this company will STEAL from you. This company may be fraudulently opening credit accounts without authorization! I am not a customer of theirs, however, my little girls received a gift basket from a family member for Easter from ** Cheeseman. Days later, my little girls received a **** in their names, with a credit line opened in their names. It was suggested by an employee of the company that my kids fraudulently opened an account online. Then, once I contacted the sender of the gift, learned she opened an account herself, and sent the girls a basket. We spoke to the company on the same line, the sender of the gift paid the amount due, and we told the company there was no reason my kids should or could have had an account open in their names, they are 13 and 7 years old. A month later, while going through a loan process for a house, I was notified that a credit hard pull was run against ME through ** cheeseman. The account that was opened in the girls names, were opened by someone running a credit check on ME. My name was nowhere on the account. No one had received my authorization to run a credit check on me. I had to once again contact the company, and learned the girls ***** had a credit line open under their names. Since my recent call, they said they closed the account, that my kids could have never opened....as they are under 21. They also said they will be working to remove the credit pulled under my name. The concern is that this could easily happen to someone else. I have spent ***** over the last few months working on this...and thought it was rectified when I originally called. I am extremely frustrated over this. This company should be held liable for accounts being opened under kids names, who are too young to open accounts, (and if they tried to run a credit report under their names, when they couldnt find credit histories on them, the company should have flagged the account and stopped there). There is no reason I should have had my credit pulled, and no reason my kids should have had an account opened. There should have been red flags if it was user error online. It should have never gone this far. Im concerned it could be internal fraud taking place, but I feel Im not being heard about it.

This is a horrible company. I ordered an item last year and decided to cancel it. I gave plenty of notice that I wanted it canceled before it ever shipped, but of course they decide to ship it anyway. Most likely hoping I would just keep it. I did return it even though I never wanted it sent to begin with and then they had the nerve to bill me return shipping. So of course I felt I wasn’t liable for this and so they reported it to the credit bureaus! Ridiculous! This stupid catalog company decides to ruin my credit over an item I canceled. I ended up just paying it, but now my 100% payment rating went to 98% on credit karma due to this ridiculousness. Never ever order from this crooked, over priced company. Even if you cancel they charge you and try to destroy your credit. I regret ever ordering from them now.

While the products were always delicious, and I typically received what I ordered, I will never again purchase anything from The Swiss Colony. Only once did I not receive something purchased, and when I called to report this, a very helpful representative corrected this with me. When I received the corrected order, I realized that I received what was needed and an additional item that I had already received. I called back and spoke with another helpful representative to report this error, and she indicated that I could donate it or just simply keep it. I informed her that I truly appreciated this but wanted to pay for it as I would end up using it as another Christmas gift. Months later, I received a credit card statement from Swiss Colony. I called to report that I owed no money and to inform of my dismay that a credit account would be started without my approval. It was my belief that the small amount for the one extra item was payed on that prior phone call. I was informed by the very nice gentleman that the credit account was closed. I then received another bill and was told that a supervisor would call me. This never happened. Upon receipt of another bill, I called and was helped on the finance side where it was discovered that I did owe the money on the extra item. (I double checked my bank account and this extra charge was never collected.) I paid the original amount but refused to pay the finance charges that were being tacked on after the original credit bill, as I called the moment I received the bill, believed I owed nothing, and was told the account was closed. I requested and received the finance charges removed with two extra phone calls to ensure this was done, as I was told to verify this and that the account that I never approved of was closed. My trust was lost with them opening a credit account without my approval, rather than just billing me. It was a true hassle to continue to talk to different staff and get slightly, and at first largely, different answers. Only once did any representative upset me and that was when I was told that I should have just taken the free merchandise. I explained that I was trying to do the right thing.
