As someone with bad social anxiety, this is such a wonderful safe place to shop! I have zero anxiety, the environment is wonderful and the staff are so helpful and kind! Thank you for making this my place to shop! If anyone needs a place to shop, look no further!

Given the location this is the only grocery store that is practical to shop at if you live in Monona. I really wish we had a different option available. This grocery store is consistently out of items. You'll walk the store and bare shelves are noticeable. Meat area has expired food out frequently. I've complained to management after getting into the checkout line the third time noticing I was about to buy expired meat. Very much felt like they didn't take me seriously and said whatever they needed to to get me off the phone. Last Thursday, my husband and I were there and they had an entire lot of pork loin that had no expiration date at all on them. How can a store sell meat with no expiration date?

Since 2020, Monona Pick N Save's gallon 1% milk spoils 75% of the time we buy there before the expiration date by a week. We have lost more milk this way.
Also, the $5 shrimp would not be good for more than a couple of days if that. My cat won't even eat the shrimp at times from Monona store only. Hilldale Pick N Save has good shrimp. I see Monona they changed their shrimp vendor; we will see how long this shrimp stays good.
I have told the store manager about the milk and the butcher in the butcher area about the poor shrimp.
I now try to shop other places for milk for sure.
Shrimp is hit and miss at this store.
AND always double check the posted prices too. They don't care that the posted prices are different from the ring up prices. I thought that was illegal to do.

Sarah and Chris were so helpful and kind! I placed a pickup order via the app, and due to travel delays missed my pickup time, and called to let them know. Sarah worked with the pickup staff to make sure everything would be kept aside for me despite being late, and Chris helped get all the items once I did arrive to the store. Thank you so much for these great team members!
