Since merging with monona Bank, I am very unhappy. The new app sucks. And repeatedly, credit purchases (no fraud here nor overbalances) are denied due to possible fraud...purchases made repeatedly for the same amount for months (eg, doctor copays). This is not acceptable. Monona bank was great. Lakeridge sucks.

Not happy with the conversion of Monona Bank to Lake Ridge Bank. It can be expected that conversions will have some issues, but the fact that they did not PLAN for this is poor planning . . . or not caring about their customers. The wait on phone or chat is forever (waited 40 minutes one day last week). And it is mind-blowing to think that it is acceptable to NOT keep the Online Banking history !! Really? They cannot even provide a .csv file or even a paper report . . the only thing they can do is give me PAPER copies of my monthly bank statements which does not help because I need to know the businesses, etc. that I made the payments to in order to allocate expenses for tax purposes. This is going to make doing my taxes a nightmare. It just seems like they don't care about their customers.

We had nothing but positive experiences and great customer service from Jordan and the entire team at Monona Bank on Bridge Rd. We use them for our small business banking and could not be happier!

I have never received better customer service from a bank than what I have received from Monona State Bank. Every time I enter the branch, I am greetly warmly and welcomed as a member. The tellers are genuinely happy to help me with any transaction. I got to sit with the Branch Manager once and you can tell she has a passion for making customers happy. I can see where the rest of the staff gets their passionate customer serivce from. I feel like I am a valued member at my local bank. It's the way all banks should be. It's the kind of banking that makes a customer say WOW.

Stay away. I have had two loans with this company, mainly because they were a referral and I appreciated the service they gave me. They didn't have the best rates, but not terrible either. After paying over $25k in interest over the past 6-7 years, I refinanced with someone else as Monona couldn't offer as good a deal and the service from my new lender seemed much better. Upon refinancing, they charged me a $25 fee. I inquired with them because my loan docs said there was no early payoff fee, but said the fee was for "preparation of my payoff amount," which they view as something different. After the amount I paid them, they apparently wanted more. After emailing the VP, she explained what it was for and I questioned it, she didn't respond. No more business for them and I hope everyone stays away.

I tried to get a home loan here and they never got back to me. Anchor bank down the road was happy to help. Disappointed that my home town bank didn't take me seriously.
