Nice Menards the only issue I had was in the wild bird seed area they have the pantry moths flying around. Time to put some traps out. Did not buy any bird seed, do not want those in my place.

This Menards is located in an ideal central location for folks living to the East of Madison. Easy access off the Beltline and Stoughton Road makes it convenient. As always, like all Menards, you get the 11% rebate on everything you buy. However, one thing we all agree on, getting the rebate is still inconvenient and many of us don't do it. For a company as old as Menards to continue to advertise the 11% rebate and still make it a hassle to collect it just simply smells of disingenuous advertising. Fact: The current rebate system is broken. Either Menards should modernize it and make it easy on-line using smart-phones or they should make a Rewards program that accumulates the rebate. Otherwise, just ditch the whole rebate thing. I will say, this Menards, in particular, is clean, orderly and easy to get in and out of. Sun Prairie is also good, but a bit less convenient to get in and out of...the west side Menards is an old standard for so many folks, but it has a more weathered feel to it. Menards has a great app which saves time and travel when needed. Menards is my go-to for home improvement and repair.

8:58p.m. on a Monday night. Not a single place in Stoughton, McFarland was I able to send a fax. That is until I met manager Micheal Saunders. Just one more reason I absolutely love Menards on Copps Ave.

Love Menards! This location has a wide selection variety and helpful, friendly people working throughout the store. I highly recommend Menards for all of your building and home improvement needs.

This is a huge store. You can pretty much find anything you would possibly want for a construction project in your home. They've got everything that you would need for home upkeep, construction, or hobbies.
I just find that the layout of the store can be really confusing. It's easy to get lost in here. I would recommend trying to seek out a staff member if you're looking for something specific.

Every employee avoids helping you at this location like the plague, it’s strange Janesville location is the exact opposite, literally have to walk after them as they are walking away trying to avoid you to get help.

You are better off shopping at Home Depot or a smaller lumber company if you want to be treated like a human. Management is rude and employees lack the basic understanding of the products in their dept.
I purchased decking boards for a deck project a few weeks ago and they were badly warped. I picked the best I could in the lot as I needed to complete the project. This week I needed to complete another project and asked to view the boards before purchasing to see if they had better inventory this time. I was told by management the only way to view the product in the back of the yard before purchasing was to walk to the back of the yard, I was not allowed to drive my car in they yard without purchasing. Given it was 90 degrees out and with the amount of vehicles driving in the lot on the weekend, I did not feel comfortable walking to the farthest part of the yard (10 min walk). I was told by management, my only option was to walk there or have a contractor's card (which I don't have). Very frustrating.
Fortunately, Home Depot has product inside that I can see before purchasing.

I ordered lumber online. I received a confirmation of my order and instructions to pick up at the lumberyard. Once in the lumberyard? Good luck. There is no product location mapping and nobody is around to help. After almost half an hour I gave up and got a refund.
