“DRW is an outstanding organization. I am incredibly grateful for the services and resources they provide to individuals with disabilities. While the response time is long, the care and attention to your case is not. Intake is thorough and staff genuinely care.”
“I received so much help from the centre when I first moved to the US. Things were already difficult when we first moved with 2 kids and with a baby on the way we could barely make it. It was a good thing not to think about diapers and wipes, not to worry about the shoes the kids grew out of so quickly and all the toys we couldn't afford. Thank you for all the help you provided.”

214 Waubesa St, Madison“Hard to communicate. The space seems to allow you to hear neighboring round tables than conversations at your own round table. But great place to go for community meals.”
“Really nice and knowledgeable budtenders. The deals are really great as well and typically there's not much of a line! Even during the holidays I was in and out in 30 minutes!”
“Everyone feels a little bit of anxiety going to a food pantry for the first time. The volunteers at Oregon Food Pantry will help you through the process with kindness, dignity and compassion. If you need help, and everyone does at some point in life, they will do absolutely everything in their power to help you.”
“I visited with my team to discuss how we can help fundraise/volunteer, and walking into that building was like being transported to another world! I realized I hadn’t seen a children’s book in 20 years and it was so euphoric to see how they’d evolved to be so inclusive and diverse in so many ways. It’s amazing to see an organization that intentionally curates a selection that will inspire children from all walks of life. I am astounded by the energy and passion from every member I met, and I look forward to helping the cause in any ways I can!”
“We adopted two beautiful, adorable kittens named Oliver and June from here. The adoption process went very fast and smoothly. Their foster mom, Bridget, was very sweet and receptive to answering any questions we had; we could really see that these two kittens were well cared for by both Bridget and the organization. Highly recommend.”
“My recent experience with this store was a very good one. What made this experience so memorable was the interaction I had with Ms. Ellen. Ms. Ellen has a very calm personality which is an excellent skill given the chaos you’ll experience with the management team.In my experience, I felt like I was chasing after answers but no one knows what’s going on. Ms. Ellen on the other hand, looked at the situation, and calmly took control. Many thanks to her and other employees like this.”

“The staff is wonderful to work with. I enjoy being a part of a group that strives to prevent and alleviate human suffering in the face of emergencies by empowering the mobilization of volunteers and being a generous donor.”

213 S Klein Dr, Waunakee“Unfortunately I arrived an hour before close so I wasn't able to get thru it all. Id like to comment on the cleanliness of the store, the impeccable organization skills, I was impressed the minute I walked in. It felt more like a small boutique than a thrift store because it is so well maintained. Friendly staff, good choice of music ? and very reasonable prices. I've never had a more efficient trip to a thrift store, I will definitely be back!!”
“The shop is upbeat and cheerful, filled with handmade creations! And the retail associates are volunteering their time, how cool is that?! I feel very good making purchases at Ethical Trade! Thank you for making shopping a mitzvah!!”

754 Williamson St, Madison“I recently went here with one of my friends who is losing her vision. The entire staff is super amazing and they have a really cool old building. As my friend had questions about her cell phone, we met with Jim, the computer guy. He was super helpful and has a great sense of humor. My friend was initially really hesitant about coming here. Jim's easy going personality and the comfortable method he used to convey knowledge helped her relax and get the information she needed. I wish everyone was as knowledgeable and caring as Jim was during this appointment. She can now read my text messages thanks to the information Jim provided. The Council also has a great store full of terrific items which can help people who are losing vision. The store guy was Greg and he gave us a tour of all the products and was full of answers when my friend had questions. He even told us about a couple of items they could special order if necessary. Again, he was easy going and conveyed what he knew in a thoughtful and respectful manner. I can't say enough positive things about this organization. They are really good people who have a ton of knowledge to assist people who are losing sight. I highly recommend checking them out if you or someone in your life is in need of their services.”
“Great experience!! I signed up for a build-a-bike class but when I showed up they didn’t have a frame ready to build that would suit my needs, but they did have a newly tuned up bike that WAS exactly what I was looking for and was a very reasonable $200 and it even came with a front basket already installed. I am very happy with my experience at Freewheel and will recommend to all my friends! The guy working was very helpful and friendly!”
“My two dogs just got neutered today and i was so nervous for them! let me tell you those tech girls are something else!! very attentive and caring and nurturing they all seemed to know what they were doing, and took great care of my two fur babies. I would absolutely recommend this place!!! I see a lot of nasty comments and I think we all need to think about the bigger picture and realize just how many animals these guys are taking care of and just one single day and how much it takes to keep the ball rolling and to keep these animals safe and with good vet care so I'm sure things aren't exactly perfect at all times but I do feel that they have great people working there who care greatly for these animals and only want to see the best outcome. Keep up the good work!!!”

“I've worked here twice - once as a home support worker and once as a supervisor. Every gig has it's ups and downs, but I truly loved my tenure there. The agency deeply cares about the community they serve, and about the staff they employ. I am proud to be associated with them.”

Parking is usually easy and close too the entrance. Overall one of the best goodwill locations I've shopped.”
“Fantastic nature center that cares so deeply for the land and people. They model Aldo's land ethic and have phenomenal programming for all ages. The trails are well maintained and there is a variety of ecosystems. This is such a treasure in the Madison area.I always enjoy how friendly and caring the staff are and their passion and enthusiasm for what they do is so obvious.”
