My daughter had emergency gallbladder removal surgery this morning. The procedure went without any problem. The problem I have with the staff and keeing apprised on the progress and her condition and updates. I was told that the surgeon was going to see me in the surgical waiting room (never happened), then told that a nurse was then going to inform me of the progress (never happened). I get more updates from someone who is not even at the facility. I understand patient confidentiality..... I suppose, I'm only her father. How do I get these automatic updates?

Had an appointment for an MRI... So I went to the radiology department; located on the ground floor. There I met the friendliest people, soon as I walked in I felt welcomed. Starting with the receptionist Margie, then the MA Faith, the technician that performed the procedure Nicole, and last but definitely not least Ambrose, who helped me down off the table and escorted me to the front. I would like to thank you all for making my day......

Unless you're halfway close to dying do not go otherwise guaranteed you will be there forever.

Long wait times, medical condition doesn’t take priority. Seems to be first come first serve. Rooms are really dirty with dried blood. Rooms seem never to be swept too often. Medical equipment seems not to be cleaned too often. Recommend not going to Aurora. Aurora used to be very good, but has gone down a steep decline in service.

If you have an appt set for earlier in the morning and they call you to reschedule for the afternoon on top of getting an ultrasound due to something being wrong always call and make sure it's set before you drive all the way there. This has happened to me a few times where a nurse calls me back and we set these appts to come in and once I get there then the front desk never seems to know what's going on and they will talk to you like you have no idea what your talking about. They will say sorry your appt was this morning would you like to reschedule for next week? It gets me very upset because I don't have free time as is to get my self in. I have to work and I have 3 kids. When they finally get up and ask somebody and figure out that i was right and on time that I have to reschedule anyways because they are now behind and need to take the next person for their appt. It's extremely frustrating they are very unorganized.
Then on other days the times you do get into your ultrasound they rush the whole thing and they don't even explain what they are doing and they act like they hate their job and life. Then once they take you back to see the dr they had me waiting in a room for almost an hour with no pants on and pregnant I had to call them to get somebody to come in it was pretty ridiculous....

If I could go zero stars I would. I came in with some pain in my abdomen to the emergency room. I waited in agonizing pain for nearly 2 hours before being seen. Waiting periods for anything took minimum 2 hours. After being in the ER for 12+ hours i was moved to a room for overnight monitoring. I have been poked a dozen times (in 30+ hours) and an MRI, I have been told that the issue they thought I had wasn't showing up and they couldn't say what it was. I had zero pain for well over 12 hours as of 5am my 2nd day here and have not needed pain medication. I have an 8 week old baby who I am no longer able to lactate enough for because I have not been allowed to eat or drink. I was told by one Dr. Smith that he would get discharge papers going. I am still sitting here well over 3 hours later being told no doctor is willing to sign off. I can't leave AMA at risk of insurance not covering anything. My nurse has been nothing but helpful, bless her. I'm being told a Dr. Shaw is NOT answering pages or messages. I have been waiting and waiting, no doctor is making even an attempt to come and talk to me. My baby doesn't take a bottle and is exclusively breastfed. I am now not only starved myself but I am unable to feed my child. I feel nothing but a hostage. I am ready to go home but am not allowed. Dr. Taiwo won't sign off because it's "unchartered waters" as he has only been here a year. I have now left this hell of a hospital. The doctor flat out told me she was refusing to put through discharge papers and was trying to push me into doing more tests after I had said I'm done with medical tests and help. I was running around in circles trying to get people to talk to me and work with me. Communication is garbage here. My no food order was not going to be lifted because they still were pressuring me. I went 40+ hours without food. I eventually started eating what family brought me because the doctors were not listening to me. I left after I called MY insurance company and once I got the confirmation that my insurance benefits wouldn't change I left AMA because they wouldn't have let me leave at all. Unless I gave in to their wants for THEM and not what's in the best interest for me (But thats no guarantee). They will fear monger you into staying and complying with THEM so they can operate on you for the piece work pay (bonus pay for surgical procedures) at the end of the year. Hospitals are always for what fills their pockets. They will make you sick by starving you for 40+ hours so they can keep milking you for money.

I want to thank Dr. Maqsood A Khan M. D. of West Allis Hospital Physicians Tower for the very excellent care I received on 5/6/24. I was there for an outpatient day surgery procedure. He along with every member of the staff were skilled, cordial, compliant ,professional, conscientious, patient, meticulous, and thorough from start to finish. They put me at ease, and all went well.
Thanks so very much. Blessings!

Nurse lied. Doctor lied. They introduced the police to their lies. Overall experience continues to be a detriment to our mental health.

Exceptional Labor & Delivery. Our nurses were incredible, especially Janel and Brittney. They were so empathetic and Brittney even massaged my wife during her labor.

Hospital was very clean & staff was friendly, honestly the knock would be the miscommunication between the doctor the hospitalist on discharge or staying the extra one or two days.

Was in the ER recently. Wanted to make it known that PA Kristina Reinholtz completely ignored what I was saying, and refused to run any tests I felt the need to run. Absolutely NO compassion, she’s in the wrong field. Avoid her!
