The sales team at vanhorn Plymouth was amazing. The free oil changes for life sound like an awesome deal. Until their not. After my first free oil change, I found the oil filter to be loose after receiving a low oil light on my dash a few days later. So I had oil delivered to my home and did a complete oil change in my driveway since there were only 4 quartz of oil left in the motor. When draining the oil it was so black it looked like it wasn't even changed. Cheap oil probably, it did have a new filter, so I knew that couldn't be the case.
Anyway, I notified vanhorn Latino and they requested a copy of my receipt for the oil so I could be reimbursed. I sent it and waited a few days. I emailed them again to confirm they got it. They said they needed an itemized receipt showing tax. This was an online order so I sent then screen shots of the order. Now I'm still waiting for a response. Needles to say, I'm glad I just took care of the problem myself as the service at vanhorn Latino is lacking. All I asked for in condensation was for them to pay for the replacement oil. This happened on a weekend, and i need my truck s it is my only vehicle. The oil and filter cost about $100 delivered. I'm hoping they'll make things right as I really liked the whole purchase process.
