I’ve never left a review like this before, but after multiple unpleasant experiences at this location I feel the need to say something. The woman who answers the door is consistently rude, unwelcoming, and has a terrible attitude. I dread coming here because of how terrible she makes the interaction. She doesn’t greet you, rarely acknowledges you’re even there, and acts like helping you is a burden.
Once, I said, “Good morning! I have two packages to ship,” and she snapped back with, “What is this?” no eye contact, no courtesy, just attitude. That’s the only thing she’s ever said to me and I've been to this location over 30 times b/c I have a small business.
I understand this is the post office and customer service is not a priority, but basic human decency isn’t too much to ask. I come here often but I’m done. I’ll go out of my way to avoid this location. It’s disappointing that someone can treat people this way and remain in a public facing role.

I just want to say Mike at the Shorewood Annex was so helpful. He went above and beyond to help me find a package that I was supposed to sign for and got to the bottom of it before the end of the day. It’s so refreshing to encounter people that truly care about their job that we all rely on and is so critical. Thanks Mike for being amazing!!

I had a very time-sensitive package that I needed ASAP!! DHL was supposed to deliver my order after I paid priority shipping but they kept delaying it and eventually left it to USPS. I talked to Mike at USPS and he held my package once it came in so that I was able to pick it up right away the next morning. He was so helpful in such a stressful situation. Thank you Mike!

This is the place that handles holds for my area. Instead of my mail being held for the month that I was away, it was all jammed into my mailbox and damaged. Rachael, the manager, claimed that they never got my hold request because it was filed online and they don’t have reliable internet at the Shorewood Carrier Annex. This is very hard to believe.
Instead of apologizing for their mistake, she acted like it was my fault for filing my request online. She told me to complete a paper form next time and go directly to their annex to drop it off. Like it is 1983 and the internet hasn’t been invented.

Terrible customer service. Tried calling because I had a few questions regarding P.O. box and my personal mailbox. The lady on the phone said and I quote," So you're calling the post office because we can do what? Exactly?"

Hopefully you never have to stop in, call, have an issue with your mail, or anything that requires you to deal with this branch!! You will get nothing but excuses, lies, and combativeness. Worse service I ever had to deal with

I was facing an issue with the package that I did not get in time and tracking was showing 'awaiting delivery'. I visited this center for help. A lady name 'Sharika' (sorry if I spelled wrong) helped me finding my package. I really really appreciate for your kind help Sharika.

The service here is terrible. I wrang the doorbell and the service door flew open. I said hello, good morning to the worker but all I got was an angry stare back. I informed them that I was there regarding a package I was supposed to receive a week and a half ago, but didn't and the tracking hasn't updated (says it was still at this facility). After explaining my situation to them multiple times the only response I got was "our system is old wait for your tracking to update". Eventually I gave up trying to get help with this package and am honestly losing hope that I will ever receive it. Terrible, terrible service if I could give 0 stars I would.

I have never written a Google Review before but I seriously needed to after the experience I had with this business. I was having issues tracking down a very time-sensitive package that was sent to me and the woman who helped me out was phenomenal. She spent about an hour and a half trying to hunt down where in Milwaukee my package was. Then, she stayed after-hours to make sure I got the package when I needed it. It blew me away how above and beyond the employee went for me and I cannot stress enough how thankful I am for her help!
