I live 2 minutes walking distance from Rupenas Butcher Shop but I buy all my meats from Rays. It’s well worth the drive. I love this place.

Have loved coming for jerky since I was a kid. I’ve know grown and bring my own children in. Always a good experience Altho the last few times have been hit or miss. The older gent with glasses always seen grumpy and is gross grabbing multiple different meats with no gloves or paper while grabbing meats. The jerky is always amazing Altho has seemed to be inconsistent on the “doneness”. And the part that bugs me the most was the condensation water dripping onto the meat. The cherry turnovers are always great along with the beef sticks and jerky. The chicken is always great quality too.

I don't know why I keep forgetting that if I pay just a bit more for meat at Ray's, I and my family enjoy our meals so much more. The flavor is so much better than a big chain grocery store.
So I decided to buy two beef brisket at Ray's this time versus a chain grocery... FOUR DOLLARS A POUND MORE EXPENSIVE AT RAY'S for what LOOKS like the SAME type of cryo pack. Never again will I purchase a brisket from Ray's.

Visit family every year and make this a stop. We stock up on brats, sausages, filets and anything else that catches our eye. Great selection of meats, cheeses, veggies and other things that you may need. Highly recommend!
