Always thought about sailing, but don't know where to start? MCSC is the finest sailing school on Lake Michigan and one of the top ranking in the US. The staff and members alike are wonderful, welcoming people fostering a great community.

We are so happy we had our outdoor wedding ceremony and indoor reception at the center! It is a wonderful organization with a great mission. The center was a perfect spot for our small do-it-yourself wedding. The catering company provided tables and chairs for the ceremony and reception. The wedding photos are gorgeous and were captured by Reflections by Robyn Photography from Galena, IL. If you're planning a small wedding in Milwaukee, choose the center!

I can't say enough about this place. I've always wanted to learn how to sail and this hidden gem in Milwaukee did just that and more. The instructors were patient but also very effective in their teaching. They make sure that you are confident in your abilities very early on and encourage continued learning. The team and community here is second to none. More people need to know about this place because everyone should take advantage of the huge lake we have in our backyard!

Friendly staff and amazing mission: to provide access to sailing on Lake Michigan for *everyone* in the community. Very reasonable annual dues and costs for lessons and instruction to be able to use the boats of the Center. (And real deal 21+' sailboats with weighted keels that won't flip over, not little 6' capsize vessels! Though they have some of those, too, if you like.) A jewel to the city of Milwaukee. They are taking COVID-19 precautions currently, but still definitely worth checking out and joining. Facility rental is also available.

I had previously 0 sailing experience and took the beginner/ intro to sailing course with Mike and Janet, who were super patient with me and great educators. I would absolutely recommend to anyone who would like to learn to sail to come here and go through the several training courses that they have to offer. The community here that has been built is very rich and lively. I will be back lots more this summer!
