“I left with tears of joy and a bag of gummy bears. It does not get better than that! My sleep was terrific. The soap/shampoo left me feeling awesome. (It was better than my go-to wash I brought. And I got to practice ukulele. My exit started with an elevator ride with the most lovely of lovely head bellmen, (Whom I'm remembering also helped me when I arrived navigate an easy path to work.) He then instructed his valet with the most respect and kindness. I checked out at the front desk. A lady with shorter red hair and a dark-haired gentleman were so kind, intuitive, and welcoming it brought me to tears. I was struck by the interaction and their warmth. (So, now I'm in tears...and needed to take a second to take it all in and appreciate the moment.) When I walked outside, I was super surprised to see the valet was still at my drivers' door ready to help me into my truck. He made sure I had everything I needed. This service was crazy for the room rate. I will be traveling back with my husband.”
“Rooms: Spacious, clean, nice decor
Safety: Quiet, Attendants present, courteous

“What a great hotel!! Right next to historic 3rd and close to the river walk. Rooms were affordable and clean. Truly one of the most beautiful buildings I've stayed in.Rooms: Rooms were clean and comfy. High ceilings were cool.Nearby activities: I mean walk a block any direction and there's something to do.Safety: Pretty safe part of town.Walkability: Very walkable city!”
“My check-in experience with Diamond was fantastic! I got into town about 3 hours early and fully expected to have to wait until 3pm to check-in. I asked if an early check-in would be possible on such short notice and she made it happen!Diamond was incredibly polite, friendly, knowledgeable, and answered all of my questions. Thank you for making my first impression of Milwaukee so positive!Rooms: My room was very comfortable! Size was great and the room itself was in very good condition.”

500 W Florida St, Milwaukee“We try to go to MKE 1-2 times a year, and this was our first stay at Iron Horse. Really loved this hotel. Rooms are cool and beds are super comfortable. Outdoor bar area is a great hang. The Historic Third Ward is a short walk away.
We look forward to future stays here!
Valet Parking is convenient, friendly and fairly priced, HOWEVER the company used (PMC) seems to have text billing issues as I keep getting new charges texted to me and are accumulating a few days after checkout They don't have a customer service number to call to stop them. Ignoring, for now.”

817 N Marshall St, Milwaukee“My family and I stayed here for my wedding weekend, and it was truly a wonderful experience. The location is perfect, within walking distance to a variety of excellent restaurants, making it convenient for all our family. Each room had its own unique character and charm, reflecting the rich history of the building. The attention to detail in restoring this historical gem is remarkable. I highly recommend it to anyone who values historical preservation and wants a stay with both comfort and charm.”
“Food and drinks: I didn’t stay at the hotel but I went to their bar. Love! Love! Love! The atmosphere. It was a scene of ppl actually talking to one another and not on their phones. The drinks are a bit pricey but the experience is worth it!”
“Nice hotel in downtown Milwaukee area that is getting updated!
Nearby activities: Close to several music venues is what I went for.
Safety: I felt very safe. Wasn't very many people out Thanksgiving eve.”
“Clean as usual. The staff were very friendly and willing to help with any problems I had. The only thing different from this room and all the others is the closet space.Walkability: Sidewalks nearby”

1215 N 10th St, Milwaukee“My stay was great. Short walk to the Fiserv arena. They put a lot of money into restoring the brewery and making rooms, so I didn't mind the cost. The room I had was clean and perfect. It even had a small kitchen that I used. TV in the room could have been bigger to watch the college basketball championship game. They should have made the beds every day and not by request since the room was pricey. Also, they should mention that there is free street parking a couple blocks towards the left if you are on a budget and want to avoid the forty dollar valet fee and the twenty dollar parking garage fee. The restaurant next door was useless to me because it was never open when I needed it. Never heard of a restaurant that serves dinner that closes at 8 PM on a weekend.”
“I stayed in the room with a separate bath. Really spacious, clean and nicely furnished with lots of storage space. Comfortable bed. Only complaint is that the comforter was paper thin. If you stay in the winter ask for an extra comforter when you check in. Great value for about $200.”
“Beautiful old hotel, modernized but kept the beat of the old. You can see a bit of the room doors in my photos. There was also a full, modern kitchen and eating area, which we barely used, as we were only there for one night. Possibly my favorite hotel ever!”

500 N Water St, Milwaukee“Can't recommend this hotel enough. I actually just came back from my trip. My family of 3 stayed there a couple nights ago. First of all the hotel is beautiful: exterior and interior. Our room (we stayed in the king + pull out sofa) has high ceiling and the herring bone wooden floor. The location is the icing on the cupcake. I wished I could have stayed longer in this hotel and Milwaukee. The only complaint we has was the pull out bed was super uncomfortable. You could almost see /feel the spring through the sheets. Other than that I definately recommend this hotel.”

Last year things weren't as good as they could have been but this year they really stepped it up and it was a night and day difference. The Manager Alex was great as was the Assistant Manager Millard. They went above and beyond to make sure our group was well taken care of and comfortable. The rooms are always nice and the staff couldn't be more accommodating. We will for sure be back! Thanks Four Points!”

From the moment I arrived, the front desk staff was wonderful. They were incredibly friendly, professional, and efficient, making the check-in process smooth and welcoming. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed with all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was especially comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The hotel's location is very convenient, close to the airport, which made my travel plans much easier.Additionally, the complimentary breakfast was a nice touch, offering a variety of options to start the day. The dining area was clean and well-maintained, and the food was fresh and tasty.Overall, my stay at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Milwaukee Airport was excellent. The outstanding service at the front desk, combined with the comfortable accommodations and convenient location, made for a very pleasant stay. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning in the future.”
“Super walkable location near lots of great options for dinner. I really enjoyed a good breakfast and awesome staff! Manno helped me extend my stay when work schedule changed, and I was glad to spend another night at your hotel!
I will choose this hotel on future visits to Milwaukee.
Walkability: With my vehicle parked in the neighboring garage I was happy to walk to nearby restaurants at night. In less than ten minutes you can reach many options for dinner. I look forward to staying in the future during the work week or with more time to explore on the weekend.”
“Great free shuttle to and from MKE- just call them and they come within minutes to the shuttle pick up point right outside airport. Hotel is clean and well cared for. Room is comfortable and very low outside noise (typical AC noise). Breakfast is very well stocked with food and even has real plates. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great experience.”

4600 S 6th St, Milwaukee“Everything was very clean and refreshed when we checked in, and the guy at the counter was amiable and chill. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub with other guests and it was quiet, everything was in service. We had a tub which I appreciate after combing through lots of hotels in the area that only had showers (it is one of our must-haves!) You can hear the airport, but hey it's the big city. And it's nestled a few blocks away from big traffic, so the noise isn't right at your door. Will come back again when visiting MKE :)Rooms: It is nice to have a tabletop TV. My partner has poor eyesight and can't really see the smaller wall mounted TVs that hotels typically have. Everything is pretty standard for a hotel In this price range which is comforting and no surprises.”

1230 N Doctor M.L.K. Jr Dr, Milwaukee“I think I liked this hotel :) The staff was really nice, I especially appreciate the valet for putting up with me and my boyfriend being in and out like 6 times a day (pretty late some nights) for Anime Milwaukee. Our toilet was a little bit janky and my pillowcase had stains on it, but it seemed nice enough besides that. I was able to log into Netflix on the TV and the AC/heat was nice and easy to use. I saw the parade from my room over the weekend which was pretty sick. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to light sleepers though, the street traffic and doors slamming kept waking me up at night/early in the morning, they do offer earplugs and whitenoise machines though. My room didn't have a DND sign that I could find, but housekeeping knocked and waited for an answer luckily. My biggest qualm was that the pool was closed, which I didn't see anywhere before I booked my stay :( On the opposite end, I liked that they had a vegan breakfast option! I very much appreciated that. Overall, an alright place to stay, it was pretty cheap compared to other hotels I was looking into.”

Angela, the hotel manager is always accommodating and helpful if I ever have concerns. I like hotel living and this is the place to be for business or recreation. The view of the Milwaukee River is superb and I would recommend this hotel for anyone planning a visit to Milwaukee. Photo included was taken by me.Rooms: Half of the hotel rooms overlook the river.”
“Good experience overall if you are itching for some gambling action in the city of Milwaukee. With the addition of sports betting and poker to make a return there is something for everyone's gambling preference. There are several options for food on premise and plenty of other food options in the area. Close to public transportation for out of townees. Would recommend pairing a weekend when there is some live entertainment in town at the many venues, Riverside Theater and Fiserv Forum to name a few. Good luck”
“Such a beautiful building , but unfortunately not well updated. Service was slow, took me about 30 min to check in. Rooms are big, but again just not well updated. Having nice lotion or robes would be much appreciated”

The staff kept my room clean. I appreciated the location and they kept my reservation. I would visit this hotel again. Note it is not a chain- if you prefer a standardized room with a chain feel this cozy and family owned hotel is not for you. For me, I enjoyed my 5 night stay during the RNC Convention 2024z”
