MacKenzie did an absolutely flawless job on my modern mullet cut! She was welcoming, funny, personable, and listened intently when I told her what I was looking for. I have never been so happy after a haircut!!

Have now had a short haircut and flex trim by Mackenzie and would recommend! I’ve got curly hair so it’s always tricky finding someone I trust with my hair, but she’s done a great job and I’m letting my curly friends know! I’ve gone to Hedwig the past few years, previously with Sabrina, and am now very happy to continue with Mackenzie!

Just had my hair cut for the first time here by Mackenzie, and I had a delightful time. The owner asked a friend to use a ramp so they could get my wheelchair up the stairs before my appointment, which was thoughtful. I explained I have sensory sensitivities, and everyone was super accommodating. Mackenzie kept me laughing the entire appointment, and my hair looks amazing. Wasn’t misgendered once. Highly recommend these folks. Will definitely be back.

Curly Haircut Queen! My new hair stylist Caitlin was outstanding. It's scary to try someone new and I'm so glad I did. She cut and styled my short, very curly hair (3b/c) with great expertise. I recommend her highly.

To quote my 9 year old son after getting his hair cut with MacKenzkie: 5 stars!
He’s squirmy and chatty and we’ve had maaaannny challenging haircut experiences in the past: this wasn’t one of those! MacKenzie listened to him, chatted with him and worked around all his wiggles like a total pro. And in the end- he has a really great summer haircut that looks super cute (and he came in with a giant mop of hair!) We’ll be back- thank you!

I am always afraid of going to a salon because I've had several stylists decide to "add more dimension" and make my hair shorter than what I requested. However, I had a fantastic experience at Hedwig and with Mackenzie! I went in for a refresh cut as I'm in the process of growing my hair longer and Mackenzie did an incredible job. She listened attentively to my preferences and made sure to keep (as close to) the length while giving my hair a fresh new look. I also asked her to make adjustments to my fringe and she totally delivered. I couldn't be happier with the result! Great experience and I highly recommend Mackenzie.

So I got a haircut by a new & different stylist here about a week ago. I used to see Sabrina before she left and she was great.
I thought the haircut was OK at first, but I later realized thinning shears and/or razor had been used on my dry hair and it created a lot of halo frizz across the entirety of the top of my hair.
I realize this is partly my own fault because I didn’t ask how the bulk would be taken out of my hair which is why I didn’t give 1 star.
However, I won’t be returning to get my hair cut here and a tough lesson was learned.
Requested style: Face framing layers and at shoulder length cut
Hair type: Fine high density 2a-2b wavy hair

Hedwig’s is wonderful! I get my haircut by Caitlin - she is always so kind and helpful with helping me figure out what to do with my hair. I’m glad I found this salon and I’m looking forward to coming back for years to come! :)

I love Hedwigs! My stylist Caitlyn is fantastic, listens to what I want and is willing to take her time to get my hair just right. I never feel rushed and I never leave with a bad cut. Highly recommend!

EDIT: After a year of getting my hair cut and styled by Caitlin - and LOVING it - she did my hair for my wedding. Caitlin was so sweet in meeting me early on Friday morning and she did a wonderful job! My hair stayed the entire day - even through the rain! At the end of the night, it still looked exactly as it had at 9am. Absolutely amazing!
