“Ok, so we have had Italian sausages from every single "fantastic" deli/shop/store in the area for the last 20 years and Rupenas is the BEST as far as Italian sausages go. Absolutely blows Gloriosos, Ray's, Sendiks, Karl's, and Robert's away. And do not miss their turmeric famous chicken breasts either. So glad we stopped by, it was a staple in the family 25 years ago as our extended family ordered this food often but once Aunt Susie died we never had it anymore. We make the trek from the west side of Waukesha now often but it's ok, we LOVE it!!”
“May 18th we went in to buy meat for the grill and our cashier was phenomenal. She was so happy and conversed with each of us customers. Her genuine and pleasant personality made the stop such an enjoyable experience.The beef ribs and cilantro lime chicken breast were absolutely delicious.”

“Desi Market opened up! Hooray!! I went in to check it out and found a wall of coolers full of Indian food and multiple isles filled with nice looking Indian groceries. The guy at the counter made me feel right at home and left me to slowly look at every isle.I got yummy layered mango jelly candy, coffee flavored cookies (great value) and a bag of crispy filled rounds. Each was unique and really good, and reasonably priced!Next time I'll be looking for some frozen Parantha Aloo, flatbread with potato stuff inside. I know it's within those coolers!”

“What's not to like. Amazing prepared entrees and sides for takeout - and prepared food for putting in the oven. Got some polish kielbasa that I can't eat without thinking of the SNL skit - but enjoyed it with class nonetheless. This restaurant has tons of hard to find ethnic foods. “I only go here for items that are a rare find in the regular grocery stores, i.e., rabbit, frog legs, fresh skins, jackfruit, actual soft, ripe, and sweet plaintain. Other than that, I wouldn't shop here for regular items as the prices are very high in comparison to the chain stores. The meat counter used to be a bit more reasonable, but now their prices are about the same as the chain stores as well. I've only purchased chicken and fish from the counter, but it's usually of good quality, so at least you're getting quality for your $ spent at the meat counter!”
“When you're trying to improve your health, buy more organic items and shop less of the mainstream overly processed food, it is best to put yourself in an environment where there is limited temptation. This is the reason I made the Outpost my GO TO grocery store. Fruits and veggies are fresh. I love the varieties of micro greens (zesty is my fave). Whenever I cook using produce from Outpost, my partner notices the quality of the dish. He used to claim that it doesn't make a difference. However, after many delicious home-cooked meals, he can't argue with me! When I don't have time to cook, I love the Meals To Go - the roasted chicken, macaroni and cheese, baguette sandwiches. The people who work there are helpful and friendly. As an owner of the co-op, I like the extra perks. It is definitely worth it! Check it out! Maybe I'll see you there... :)”
