STAY FAR AWAY! Horrible employees. Employees are illiterate and completely incapable of writing a coherent message. Was looking forward to going here but not after being told that "you appointment" will not because they "need to $45 deposit" before the appointment is established. Wow. So rude and unprofessional.

I came to Norwood with my dog who previously did not so good at her last vet. I was super nervous for the appointment thinking it was going to turn into a full sedation visit. Our tech, Abby, did fantastic with her. Let her warm up to her, and gave her many treats to get her love lol. Dr Ben came in, and did the same. I was blown away with how the exam went. Dr Ben was able to get a full exam done, answer all my questions, and give great advice. My kiddo did great. I left having a better understanding of everything, and comfortable with the course of treatment we decided with her allergies. Their clinic is decently priced, and they also offer texting services which is an added bonus! Will definitely be returning with my kiddo!

I called several vet clinics and got quotes and looked at reviews. I chose to go with Norwood because based on price and the outstanding reviews I found online, they seemed the best. I set the appointment and told the receptionist what we needed, and she gave me a quote based on that. My husband took our dog in and when he came home, I found out bill to be double what I was quoted. They did a test that they told him was required for their facility on all animals. I was not told about this $65 test when I called. People must be told about this requirement and notes should be taken on what an animal is coming in for. Our dog also received two vaccines we did not want or need along with some pills which we did not want. Please be ware the price goes up.

So incredibly impersonal. Had been going here for many years then we switched because we could never get our pets in to see a doctor. Thought we would give them another try with my 14 year old dog. Had I not been with my husband who has a cell phone I would have had to turn around and go home. Stay in your car call this number. They take your pet you don't know what they are doing with it. Didn't get to meet the doctor in person. Never going back again. Prices on some shots where 3x what we pay at our other clinic. This place is a definite no!

My wife and I have had a bad experience with Norwood Animal Clinic. In our opinion, they are more concerned with taking our money than our pets. I recommend checking out the Wauwatosa Veterinary Clinic at (414) 475-5155 or at

They are wonderful and caring. They listen to your concerns and give you information to help. We have had our animals here seem like forever. We had seen Dr. Grebe.

I've been going to this vet clinic for 15 plus years. There has been a turnover of veterinarians since Dr Grebe passed away which was 4-5 years ago. I've been happy with the different vets and their service. They seemed capable and through. That has changed. Blandin is neither. I've taken my dog there twice to see him once for a wellness exam which he rushed thru then gave my dog an injection without telling me what it was or asking if I was ok with it. Some shots given to dogs have side effects or not necessary for your dogs lifestyle. It shouldn't be automatically given. The second time was for a problem my dog was having. After another rushed thru exam, he suggested antibiotics then stating "if that doesn't work we would need an MRI which is thousands of dollars". A good vet would think it thru and perhaps get creative with an alternate plan if needed. At least try. That's what I've experienced with other veterinarians. Big thumbs down on this guy. I won't be going back. There are so many good vets out there, I don't have to.

The quality of care has dropped over the last year. W have 2 dogs and 2 cats. One dog has had an ear infection they have not been able to clear up. Then, we take our other Labrador in for a routine visit and the "attendant" comes in like a linebacker, arms extended to the side trapping my dog into a corner to do a routine check up. Needless to say, she scared the heck out of my dog and she growles. I was there and found not believe what I saw! So, I call in advance of my next visit to discuss and I'm told that my dog is now listed as a RISK TO HURT THEIR STAFF! All of a sudden? After a dozen other costs over the years? It gets even better. I go to another vet and they request records from this place. They place in their records that the new vet should require pre-medication for safety reasons. Do NOT trust this place. After reading other posts it now makes sense. The "good doctor passed away" and things HAVE gone downhill. I have only ever posted 2 negative reviews of anything in my life. I DO have better things to do, but no other family should be objected to this hack outfit.

I have been taking my babies to Norwood for over 10+ years. They are compassionate people. They all take the time and listen to your worries and concerns. During examination they are gentle and speak soft to your babies. I highly recommend that you go there. If you need to see a dr. They are awesome with getting you in that same day or the earliest appointment they have. All the lovely ladies that work there are AMAZING. So sweet I love these ladies. My babies are happy too.
