So good, so clean, so delicious. Go to Appetito for a great night with friends, your significant other, or by yourself. The ingredients are so fresh, you'll think you're in a different country.

My husband and I have now done two cooking classes here and I can safely say it is a truly wonderful experience! Here's what to expect: *Classes fill up quickly, so if you see something on the website you are interested in, book it right away!*You'll arrive and sign some safety waivers and the bar is open to have a cocktail before you start cooking. *You'll wash up and get an apron on and then settle in to get step by step instructions on how to make whatever is on the menu today! The instructors are knowledgeable, engaging and there's a video camera over head so you can see exactly what they are doing. *At some point you will eat what you cooked - in on class this happened at the end, in another we took a break half way through and ate the first pasta dish we made, continued cooking, then ate the other. *There will be way too much food but it will be delicious!Overall, a great experience whether you cook all the time or are just starting out. I learned some things and really enjoyed learning with my husband and meeting other wonderful people. Best of all, you get coupons for 10% off at Glorioso's market. I would highly recommend this as a gift or date night experience.

Do not recommend the macaroon class. When class began - no hand washing instructions. Ingredients were forgotten. But apparently all the macaroon shells are them mixed - so you get whatever weird stuff a bunch of people with unwashed hands made? Gross. Appalling actually. And then we each made probably 50-60 shells and then they give each person enough to make 6, maybe 10 cookies? What happened to the rest? I understand macaroons are very finicky and can break, but tell us and again, the whole thing seemed unplanned, unprepared and definitely unsanitary. Pretty sure they didn't mention hand washing or ask the group to wash hands until we called them out for it. Overally poor instructions and sadly not worth the high cost. Did have a great time with friends and learning about process.

My boyfriend and I wanted to try something fun and different for Valentine’s Day and I’m so glad we decided to come here! The class was very interactive and the instructor was super fun! The food turned out great and the atmosphere was great too. We will definitely be back to try another class in the future. Highly recommend for a fun date night! ??

We recently attended the Chicken Parmesan course and also attended a pizza making course previously. The classes are absolutely fantastic! The instructors are always great and really care about making sure your experience is very hands-on and educational.Operationally, Glorioso's makes sure you have time to get a drink throughout (if you choose) and the instant you're done cooking, you're food is ready to be eaten. The timing is literally perfect. The dining area itself has a wonderful atmosphere and is a great way to finish the evening.I would strongly recommend Appetito to anyone who is interested in making and eating delicious food!

My husband booked a class for us for our 30th anniversary. He's the cook, and I think it was difficult for him to share the responsibility with me at Appetito. Because the meals are prepared by two's, though, he had no choice. The teaching chef was outstanding, and walked us through the meal in a way that even a non-cook like me could shine. We made Chicken Parmesan, and it was fantastic. We even made our own pasta. The doors open about 30 minutes before class so you can have a glass of wine or cocktail ahead of time. The evening concludes with enjoying the meal you just made. Lots of fun and about 2.5 hours from start to finish. Their Covid precautions were sound, with plexiglass partitions between work stations, masks, and physical distancing. We are already looking for more classes to take.

I have attended several cooking schools over the years and none compare to Appetito! Gloriosos has outdone themselves with this extraordinary facility. The environment is welcoming and warm and screams "this is going to be an amazing experience"!After you are greeted by a friendly host, who checks you in, you are directed to an area adjacent to an open and impressive (large!) catering kitchen with a counter full of snacks and hot coffee to enjoy before class. At first I thought this is where the classes would be held but NO! Just around the corner from this bistro style area, with dining tables and chairs, and past the very cool bar, is a fabulous 24 person professional cooking school! There are stools for each student, plenty of workspace and all the prepped ingredients and tools, including cookware and induction burners, you will need to prepare the fabulous recipes of the day. The vibe is pure celebration and there is an excited buzz as students greet each other, sip wine (did I mention the very cool bar?!?), and get ready for the time of their lives. For those who don't know, Gloriosos has been fixture in Milwaukee since the 40's. As class begins you are given some of the rich history and background of the 3 Glorioso brothers who founded it and told of how Appetito came to be. The space was once the Italian market prior to their expansion and move across the street. My mom introduced me to Gloriosos over 35 years ago and the introduction was a trip down memory lane for me.Now for the classes! I attended the handmade pasta class on Sat. and the sauce class on Sun. Both were fabulous! Chef Katie, a pastry chef and incredible educator inspired us with her knowledge of how to work with dough and demonstrated how to hand shape a dozen classic pastas. We had our own pasta makers and various tools needed to create beautiful pasta. The time flew by and before I knew it, we were seated back in the bistro enjoying the delicious pasta and 3 sauces provided, and sipping wine. The sauce class was equally as good and Chef Brian did a great job guiding us through the preparation of a red and white sauce that were to die for. They were fresh tasting and the ingredients were gorgeous, especially the trio of fresh mushrooms accompanied by herbs and fresh cheeses. Again, the class concluded with a true feast! The staff even packs up your leftovers to take home.No review of Appetito would be complete without a shout out to Betty and Megan who totally took the experience over the top for our group. The service and kindness they showed us was 5 star! I believe the credit for the quality of the overall experience goes to Betty. She manages and coordinates everything that goes into these classes. That is no easy task and there is a lot of behind the scenes work that is required to make everything happen. Megan, the catering and events coordinator, is equally amazing and adds a lot to the experience. I would make the trip from Neenah again to see them and enjoy their hospitality. I mentioned to Megan that I wanted to bring back some meats and cheeses, and although she had much to do at the end of class, she went with me across the street to the store and guided me as to how to put together the perfect antipasto platter. The service of this passionate staff speaks volumes about the culture and commitment to customers continually demonstrated by Gloriosos management.Thank you to all for a memorable experience!

Wow...what a gem we have in Milwaukee! I came with a dear friend to take two classes. Saturday we learned to make pasta with Chef Katie. Learned many things and I can’t wait to try some out at home. Sunday it was Chef Brian who helped us with learning to make 2 tasty sauces. The whole experience was so fun, easy, yummy and welcoming. Betty and Meghan are a gift! They know their stuff! So much knowledge and again welcoming and genuinely happy to help with any needs we had. They made it all easy and fun!!! I will definitely come again
