Absolutely terrible customer service. From the manager to the employee. No one there is customer centric. Without going into details if you have business via money gram know ahead of time they only give you a max of $500.00 and the balance on a money order. If I was informed of that policy I would not have accepted the payment because she asked me if I wanted cash or money order, I informed her cash. Ashley is a manager there and absolutely horrible demeanor. They would not give me the name of the other manager who was mishandling the transaction stating giving a first name is against Hippa privacy laws. When asked is that CVS policy she stated yes at first and then later stated it was her decision. She began to raise her voice, throw her hands up, and walk away. The only great thing that happened good from this situation was meeting a customer name Quinn who confirmed they are absolutely terrible with their customer service and she decided not to shop there for the items she was ready to purchase. Do better. I am reporting this treatment to the Better Business Bureau as well. Not leaving feeling well as a customer at all. Visit Walgreens on Brady directly across the street. Not sure why they decided to keep this place open. Shut it down or at the least put your employees through a customer service training.

The pharmacy in particular has been nothing but helpful to me on multiple occasions at this point - prompt, respectful, friendly and organized it would seem. I hate leaving reviews no matter the circumstance however, noticing this location is not rated very highly, I figure I'd give them the nod. Don't fear the reviews, i think people have forgotten that this is a pharmacy in the city, I can't imagine the nonsense they deal with. Thank you again

Honestly, everybody is angry about the employees here…I find it incredibly frustrating that customers in the pharmacy do not know how to form a proper line and just stand in a herd

Un-believable. I attempted to by Zyrtec-D. This is a controlled over the counter drug that must be signed for by the consumer (me in this case). After I signed, agreeing to the terms which includes not purchasing again until after a certain amount of days, I tried to pay. As the payment transaction was processing the register inadvertently shut down. As we tried to pay again at another register, it again required me to sign. And yes, you guessed it, the system said I was not authorized since I had just “purchased” one. So, no problem since I was just authorized with the pharmacist looking on. However, the pharmacist refused to sell it to me. “Nothing I can do”. But you just saw that the DEA just authorized the purchase! “I can’t sell it to you”. BUT I WAS JUST AUTHORIZED! So without any consideration to solve CVS’s problem for their faulty tech, it was now my problem with no solution. All judgement and customer service be damned.
Now I know they can’t serve me in the face of the problem they created, Walgreens is now my pharmacy. Walgreens. Thank you CVS.

I learned the CVS Store Manager has no authority or control over the staff members in the CVS Pharmacy. It's as if they're two separate businesses under one roof. I've been going to this CVS Store for many years and can't think of one incident when STORE employees weren't helpful or courteous. I give them 5 stars. The Pharmacy, on the other hand, clearly has issues. Last night, I simply said "hello" to a Pharmacy worker as she approached and she refused to say "hi" back. Appearing as if I had inconvenienced her, she forcefully said "Last name!". I said, "Umm... hello. How are you?" Her only response was another stern, "Last Name!" At that point, I said "I'm sorry you're having a bad day." She tersely fired back, "I am not having a bad day sir!" As you might expect, it all went downhill from there. I calmly stated that it's not THAT difficult to show some common courtesy to people. Especially customers. Let alone, Pharmacy customers. I was promptly scolded for wasting time (even though I was literally the only customer there at that point). The other Pharmacy worker eventually felt compelled to chime in and exclaim "enough already, just drop it!" under his breath. He wasn't even assisting me. In an effort to deescalate the growing tension, I didn't respond. I simply paid for my meds and left saying "Thank you, have a good evening." I never once raised my voice. I've experienced callous behavior at this Pharmacy many times. But this was the first time I ever spoke up about it. And our little exchange made one thing crystal clear: my hopes for any sort of kindness from the CVS Pharmacy at 1650 N Farwell Ave... are completely futile. If we, as paying customers, continue to tolerate this type of behavior, obviously nothing will change. Sure, we can write one-star google reviews, complain to management and threaten to go to their competition. But realistically, that won't do much. However, TOGETHER, we have all the power we need. When we organize and boycott a company in large, coordinated numbers... they will have no choice but to take notice. And just by the looks of the other one-star reviews here... WE HAVE THE NUMBERS! Now, who's with me?

Whenever I have to speak to the pharmacy at CVS, I feel that God is punishing me and that he is enjoying it. The staff in the CVS pharmacy are always so rude and nasty, I would rather stick a fork in the toaster.

Excellent customer service. Great selection. Never need to worry about waiting in long line with self checkout option available. Someone always there to help me find what I need. When the see you like something and buy it often... they are sure to keep it in stock.
