I learned the CVS Store Manager has no authority or control over the staff members in the CVS Pharmacy. It's as if they're two separate businesses under one roof. I've been going to this CVS Store for many years and can't think of one incident when STORE employees weren't helpful or courteous. I give them 5 stars. The Pharmacy, on the other hand, clearly has issues. A few nights ago, I simply said "hello" to a Pharmacy worker as she approached and she refused to say "hi" back. Appearing as if I had inconvenienced her, she forcefully said "Last name!". I said, "Umm... hello. How are you?" Her only response was another stern, "Last Name!" At that point, I said "I'm sorry you're having a bad day." She tersely fired back, "I am not having a bad day sir!" As you might expect, it all went downhill from there. I calmly stated that it's not THAT difficult to show some common courtesy to people. Especially customers. Let alone, Pharmacy customers. I was promptly scolded for wasting time (even though I was literally the only customer there at that point). The other Pharmacy worker eventually felt compelled to chime in and exclaim "enough already, just drop it!" under his breath. He wasn't even assisting me. In an effort to deescalate the growing tension, I didn't respond. I simply paid for my meds and left saying "Thank you, have a good evening." I never once raised my voice. I've experienced callous behavior at this Pharmacy many times. But this was the first time I ever spoke up about it. And our little exchange made one thing crystal clear: my hopes for any sort of kindness from the CVS Pharmacy at 1650 N Farwell Ave... are completely futile. If we, as paying customers, continue to tolerate this type of behavior, obviously nothing will change. Sure, we can write one-star google reviews, complain to management and threaten to go to their competition. But realistically, that won't do much. However, TOGETHER, we have all the power we need. When we organize and boycott a company in large, coordinated numbers... they will have no choice but to take notice. And just by the looks of the other one-star reviews here... WE HAVE THE NUMBERS! Now, who's with me?

I usually don’t leave reviews but the nurse or pharmacist I spoke to over the phone should not work with patients. She didn’t listen to any of my concerns when I told her I was possibly having an allergic reaction to an antibiotic I received from them. She said it was normal and that I was the sensitive one. I told her I spoke to another nurse at a hospital that advised me to stop taking the medication. This lady at CVS proceeded to tell me to not talk to other nurses if they’re not the ones who prescribed it to me. When I told her of another antibiotics that worked for me in the past, she gaslit me and said those didn’t exist and when I told her I was given them months ago, she said I was too overweight for it and that they weren’t for sinus infections anyways. She kept arguing with me over the phone and cut me off multiple times. But I refused to keep taking an antibiotic that was giving me symptoms that said on the medication INFO could have taken me to the ER. She made me feel extremely unsafe, disrespected and uncared for. Which is scary since I’m assuming she’s a nurse or one of the pharmacist. You’re whole job is to take care of clients-not argue with them when they’re the ones that are sick. She has a thick Indian accent so if you hear that, hang up and go somewhere else. She’s going to waste your time, make you feel bad and gaslight you with your symptoms. If you want basic respect and human decency, go somewhere else. ?

I wish I could give a lower rating. The man who answered the phone for the pharmacy was extremely rude and unhelpful. Would not recommend this pharmacy to anyone unless you're looking to have a worse day.

Absolute worst customer service on phone of any pharmacy we've called. Poor phone etiquette, pharmacist unwilling to answer questions that other pharmacies willing answered.. Would not do business with this store..Makes one question their actual pharmaceutical work.

The people that work at the pharmacy were incredibly rude and short with me every time I picked up a prescription here. Some of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced in my life.

This pharmacy is awful awful awful - they ignore people, hang up on people, are always short and rude. Save the headaches and go somewhere else!

Worst pharmacy in the neighborhood. Hours are unreliable. Website indicated that pharmacy opens at 8am and it still was not open at 8:45am.

The attendant thru the drive-thru pharmacy was rude and unpleasant on June 16th afternoon. We waited for a long time to ask her questions about the different tests for Covid and she just completely ignored us. Completely lacking courtesy and customer service! To the hiring manager please hire workers with people skills.

Scheduled a second Covid booster for today. Received a confirmation text last night, and a final confirmation this morning. Arrived at the store, did the online check-in and proceeded to pharmacy. I was told "You are not scheduled for today." Since WiFi service is so crappy in the store, I could not up my confirmations. Left in a huff, rebooted phone outside, and my confirmation texts opened. As I walk to door, a large sign says Schedule your vaccine. Walk-ins welcomed."I show the pharmacist my texts. Nope. No appointment in their system. "Ok. Your sign says walk-ins welcome. I'm now a walk-in." Response from friendly, helpful pharmacist: "I'm not taking walk-ins." I find the store manager, explain my situation, and he is completely helpless other than offering a meaningless,"I'm sorry." I see why this cvs location receives a 3-star rating. I might have had better luck seeing if the Nomad pub was offering vaccines!

They continuously change their hours and a decent portion of their pharmacists have attitude problems. I would never go to this location without calling first, and I would not depend on anything being in stock. It would seem as though they are socially engineering you to use online options much like the grocery store has you check yourself out versus provide cashiers. I used to really like this location and now I find it mostly repulsive.

I've currently been waiting in the Minute Clinic for 30 minutes after checking into my appointment on time. Don't understand the point of appointments if they're not even honored.
