Center for Animal Health is a great place to take your pet. They are compassionate and listen with empathy. I have never felt hurried along; They have always listened patiently to my plethora of questions. I woof :-) choose them if I were you.

The staff at Center for Animal Health are uniformly pleasant, concerned and engaged with providing attentive, top notch and cost-effective care for my dog. It really meant a it to me that the day after our visit I received a follow-up text to make sure that he was continuing to do well.

Very friendly and professional staff. I have two cats that I brought from overseas and they have been taking care of them perfectly. First and annual appointments, vaccines, and medication as well. They use an app to keep track on everything and that is very helpful for me as a pet owner.

The team is caring and welcoming! The vets and vet techs always answer my questions, and my dogs love coming! (The cats are happy once they're out of the carriers!)

Horrible customer service. Been going there for years and never the same doctor, unfriendly service. No continuity from one visit to the next. Today we went for a dental check up and blood work and we’re not told that they do not do dental work there because they are under staffed. They didn’t say anything about this when we made the appointment. Then when we were done they pushed us out of the exam room and when we wanted to step outside to discuss our finances in private looked at us like we were going to leave without paying. I put a card on the counter for them to hold and when my partner went back they told her that we wouldn’t be allowed to come back if something like that happened again. I called when we got home and they said I threw the card. Which is not true. At all. All around just not the place to take a pet and it sucks that veterinary offices are so booked up it’s difficult to find another place to go (which is what they seem to be relying on for repeat customers) but we won’t be going back there.

I took many pets here for several years, but under new management, the quality of care went WAY DOWN! Unprofessional techs, outrageous price increases, constantly upselling....BUT the final straw was the Veterinarian getting major attitude during my cats exam because I asked if his daily pain meds could be in prefilled syringes(AS THEY ALWAYS HAD BEEN).I explained my fear was over dosing as this was a tiny amount of pain medication being administered to a very sick, small kitty & that I would happily pay more.....this doctor actually said "NO, they take too long to fill"I found a Wonderful new Vet clinic!

We started going to Center for Animal Health when Dr. Zaeske owned the practice. There were a few hiccups after he sold, which is typical, but they were so minor, they didn't make us consider switching. Today the practice runs like a well-oiled machine. Each and every staff member has been super friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and they make you feel like you and your pets are part of their family. They are completely up front about the pricing and each time we've called with an urgent request they've been quick and very accommodating. And Dr. La Vetter is the absolute best! We've already told her she can never retire!!We've been to a handful of practices over the years. Sure, a few may have been a little less expensive, but you truly get what you pay for. You're just a number to them. They don't get on the floor with your animal to gain their trust before doing an exam or administering vaccines. They don't remember details about your pet and make you feel like yours is the cutest and most amazing pet in the universe. And they make you wait, long after your scheduled appointment, sometimes for 30 minutes to several hours, in the exam room. And they surprise you at the end with unexpected charges that they didn't disclose up front. With Center for Animal Health your pet will receive top-notch care and they are great with communication whether it's a reminder about upcoming services that are due for your pet, medication refill reminders, or changes in clinic hours. We wouldn't go anywhere else!

Fantastic veterinarians… Everybody was so warm and welcoming, and very concerned… Set up a nice plan for me for bringing my big boy back for some shots and a check up and I think they all fell in love with him… And he felt very comfortable there too he wasn’t scared at all

I called in the morning about my sick kitty and was able to be seen the same day. Super easy and fast. Definitely recommend.

This vet clinic has changed over the last few years, and unfortunately for the worse. The current vets seem like their main goal is to make money. The old vets actually seemed to care about your animals. My dog is rapidly approaching the end of his life, and the vets here screwed up a few things that just didn’t feel right. I switched to Evervet (very close) and felt an immediate sense of relief meeting the doctor over there. I wish I’d made this discovery sooner, as there’s a chance it would have resulted in a few more years with my dog.

NEW CLIENTS BEWARE… The $50 new client fee would not transfer to a rescheduled initial visit. They lost our business before they even had it. Thievery.Don’t spend it all in one place, Center for Animal Health.

We are taking our dog to a different vet after they began requiring that we bring him in for a "semi-annual check-up" before agreeing to sell us heartworm meds. It's a clear cash-grab. Now I have to pay for two visits a year, a fecal matter test and a heartworm test before they'll even agree to give my dog the usual vaccines and heartworm and flea/tick meds? When I asked why, they bumbled through some script about how "dogs can't tell us what's wrong with them, so you need to bring him in twice a year." I've never had a vet so blatantly use my dog's health to take my money. Even the required heartworm test for a dog that is on heartworm preventive medication all year long is bogus. I've never had a vet require heartworm testing to REFILL a heartworm preventive prescription. It's illogical. Obviously he doesn't have heartworm. He was tested before he began taking the medication and he's been taking the medication non-stop since then.Last thing I'll say is that my neighbors used to take their dogs here too, but said that the place is under new management as of a year or so ago, thus the new money-grubbing policies. We stayed out of convenience, but no more.
