“Downtown Enterprise has been excellent for the two times needed after MVAs for longer periods. Staff was excellent each time, figuring out how to get the exact vehicle needed. Very up front with information of costs, totals, instructions for the various special electronic systems. They followed up by phone each time about satisfaction or questions. After an MVA, even when not-at-fault, arranging and getting into a different car is nerve-racking and they made it work as well as possible. Definitely recommend them. They are really busy so it;s quite a feat to juggle it all. Beware of the address, tho. The entrance is on Vel Phillips [fka 4th street betweenWisconsin and Wells, but address is listed everywhere as 310 Wisconsin. And there is lots of construction around there now [late April] so plan extra time .”

“I finally got a brand-new car yahoo. Everything was good until I locked the fob in the rear and the door would not open. Called customer service and they said they would help. Nothing but text messages and calls for the next 4.5 hours. Meanwhile called AAA and they were not much help but after 4 hours they finally sent someone. National charged me $75 for the service which I agreed to, but they never showed up, so I had that removed when I returned the car. This could have all been resolved if only ONSTAR had been activated. Meanwhile I missed out on part of my High School reunion activities. Note I have been with National for 20 some years and this is the first time I had a hiccup.”

“The car smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, Could use a car wash. Lane assist and backup camera are just a couple of features this Zipcar has to offer.At first the check engine light was on and I was on the phone with Customer Support. After some troubleshooting, which wasn't working, she tried one thing on her end and got the car started remotely! It was honestly pretty impressive.”
“This place was a life saver in my time of need when the transmission on my car went out and I was out of a car for a month until it was finally fixed. Originally I rented from them for a week but my car situation was prolonged and I was able to extend my rental with them for a reasonable price and i had no issues with the car or anything plus the payment options were convenient.”

“Such a fantastic idea. The Milwaukee market may be small still, but it's growing! Zipcar was just bought by Avis/Budget which is going to be huge. But for right now, the Zipcar service in Milwaukee is pretty awesome on its own. It's meant to be used when you just need a car for a few hours for stuff like running errands, or moving a thing, or going out to the burbs for some reason. There is a yearly fee, which is not a lot, and then each car is usually $8 or $9 per hour. There are options for renting for longer. Best part: YOU DO NOT PAY FOR GAS. The cars are really nice, ranging from hybrid to SUV. Reserve online or smartphone app. Unlock with a card, or unlock with your phone! We're living in the future, people! UWM and Marquette students/staff/employees get discounts, but anyone can sign up. Cars available on campus, or East Side. Check it out!”

Tatiana assisted me on my first visit, and she was incredibly warm and welcoming. From the moment I approached the counter, her friendly demeanor made me feel right at home. She went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed, and even helped me with an upgrade that made my trip much more comfortable. She's awesome!
When I returned for another rental, I had the pleasure of being helped by Kennies. Just like Tatiana, Kennies was fantastic. He greeted me with a big smile and was equally as helpful. He made the process quick and easy, and his cheerful attitude was contagious. Kennies also helped me with an upgrade, ensuring I had the best possible experience.
Both Tatiana and Kennies made my rental experiences memorable with their exceptional service and kindness (because, lets be honest, you don't always expect people to be this above & beyond in customer service in general, especially when you have to deal with stressful people all day). It's clear that they genuinely care about their customers and go the extra mile to make sure everything goes smoothly.

“REVIEW UPDATE: Budget immediately made it right & refunded the extra fuel amount I was charged. Will keep Budget in mind for my next car rental.
"I opted for filling the fuel tank before bringing it back instead of paying the absorbent fee of pre-paying. I topped off the fuel (pump stopped stating it was full) 3 miles from the airport. I was charged an additional $21.49 for fuel service and surcharge stating the car left at 19.5 gal and was returned at 18.2. That's impossible as I only drove 3 miles to the airport. I have the receipt reflecting the time and address of the gas station. For this reason alone, I will never use Budget car rental again and would not recommend them. I've always used Enterprise and gave Budget a chance, I was pretty disappointed.”

“It was easy to rent and pickup the cars, despite the long lines. But the woman at the front desk asked if I would like to upgrade to a convertible. I asked “is it the same price?” She says “yes, it’s on a very good deal this week.” I agreed then but was given a total of over $400. Looking at the receipt, I was charged over $200 for the upgrade! I went back to the counter and she told me she never said it was the same price, it must have been miscommunication and they could fix it at the pick-up booth. Lied right to my face!I give them high stars though because Julie was awesome! When we went to pickup the car I told her what happened and she removed the charge, let us pick the car we wanted and made all the rest of the renting process amazing. She was kind, understanding and communicated so well with the whole process and gave us a new receipt showing the correct balance. Work with Julie if you can at MCO airport location and avoid Bonnie.”

Make sure you leave the key. Offers a paper or email receipt. MKE airport return somewhat convoluted. Watch out for Hertz signs.”

“I got stuck in Milwaukee and rented a car from Dollar to drive to Minneapolis on very short notice. As others have mentioned, the Dollar desk was closed with a sign to proceed to the Hertz desk. Fortunately, there was not a long line and Cindy was both friendly and extremely helpful. I was able to quickly get a car for a reasonable price and made it to Minneapolis in time for my meeting. I would have completed a review from the Dollar link they sent me following my rental, but the link doesn't give you the option to change your privacy settings.
