“Highly recommend the option to skip the counter. Book online and take care of all of your paperwork before you even land in MKE. Great counter staff and kind knowledgeable folks who take you to your car if you've never done the skip the counter thingy. Had to chuckle at myself for making assumptions: I chose a 2025 Honda Civic and while it took me 5 minutes or so, I finally learned how to use a push button start. Lol. You CAN teach old cats new tricks! Great, seamless experience. Y'all rock.”

“The car smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, Could use a car wash. Lane assist and backup camera are just a couple of features this Zipcar has to offer.At first the check engine light was on and I was on the phone with Customer Support. After some troubleshooting, which wasn't working, she tried one thing on her end and got the car started remotely! It was honestly pretty impressive.”

“This place was a life saver in my time of need when the transmission on my car went out and I was out of a car for a month until it was finally fixed. Originally I rented from them for a week but my car situation was prolonged and I was able to extend my rental with them for a reasonable price and i had no issues with the car or anything plus the payment options were convenient.”

“No pressure no gimmicks no problems. Run by a brother and sister team and it was a great experience. The dealership has been in the family for decades. Ask any questions and they will answer without making u feel condescended to also in a wonderfully direct and polite way. “Such a fantastic idea. The Milwaukee market may be small still, but it's growing! Zipcar was just bought by Avis/Budget which is going to be huge. But for right now, the Zipcar service in Milwaukee is pretty awesome on its own. It's meant to be used when you just need a car for a few hours for stuff like running errands, or moving a thing, or going out to the burbs for some reason. There is a yearly fee, which is not a lot, and then each car is usually $8 or $9 per hour. There are options for renting for longer. Best part: YOU DO NOT PAY FOR GAS. The cars are really nice, ranging from hybrid to SUV. Reserve online or smartphone app. Unlock with a card, or unlock with your phone! We're living in the future, people! UWM and Marquette students/staff/employees get discounts, but anyone can sign up. Cars available on campus, or East Side. Check it out!”
“The wait, I feel for the people behind the desk becaues it's just not avis it's budget too, I think they should separate them. UPDATE: the gentleman who help me for my last rental is awesome!! The wait was not as bad. It was easier this time.”

“I hadn’t rented from Hertz for some time but was happy to learn the convenience of their service was still intact. Everything went off without a hitch. I didn’t like the $200 initial charge over and above my original quoted price for what I believe was some sort of security deposit. I did receive a credit for the entire amount but not until I had returned home.from my trip.”
“It was easy to rent and pickup the cars, despite the long lines. But the woman at the front desk asked if I would like to upgrade to a convertible. I asked “is it the same price?” She says “yes, it’s on a very good deal this week.” I agreed then but was given a total of over $400. Looking at the receipt, I was charged over $200 for the upgrade! I went back to the counter and she told me she never said it was the same price, it must have been miscommunication and they could fix it at the pick-up booth. Lied right to my face!I give them high stars though because Julie was awesome! When we went to pickup the car I told her what happened and she removed the charge, let us pick the car we wanted and made all the rest of the renting process amazing. She was kind, understanding and communicated so well with the whole process and gave us a new receipt showing the correct balance. Work with Julie if you can at MCO airport location and avoid Bonnie.”
“Edit to my review: they made it right with me. I understand mistakes happen and how a company responds to it is everything in my book. Very impressed and up to 5 stars for me given how nice the gentleman at the counter was about it all and how they responded after the fact.
Booked my rental car in May knowing that Thanksgiving is a busy time. Called a couple days beforehand to make sure my pickup time was still okay. Did the online pre-check a couple hours before and it said the car was ready for me. Arrived at the budget desk to find that it is closed and Avis is handling everything. The guy at the counter was nice but said that we would have a wait 30min for a car—behind some other people who are also waiting. We are the only rental company that are having to sit here to wait. Everyone else at every other rental company who got there at the same time as us are already on their way to presumably eat their Thanksgiving meals.”
“I've been a Hertz customer for years. Today I was set to pick up a Tahoe, Alice (location Manager) called me, well before my scheduled pick up time, to let me know it wasn't available after all. She quickly suggested some other options and came up with a nice Ford Explorer. Alice had it ready upon my arrival, quickly processed the paperwork and I was on my way. Based on my experience, I highly recommend. Thank you Alice!!”
