I had the pleasure of experiencing the exceptional hospitality of Jack and the management team at the Pfister Hotel recently, and I cannot praise them enough. Despite being fully booked on a bustling night, they went above and beyond to accommodate us and rectify a mistake I made. Their dedication to providing impeccable service truly sets them apart.
Jack and his team exemplify what it means to exceed expectations. Instead of turning us away or making excuses, they embraced the challenge and ensured that our stay was nothing short of extraordinary. Their willingness to go the extra mile, even when faced with a busy schedule, speaks volumes about their commitment to guest satisfaction.
The Pfister Hotel holds a special place in our hearts as it has been a part of our family tradition for years. From the moment we got engaged there five years ago, it has consistently provided us with unforgettable experiences. Thanks to Jack and the entire team, our recent visit only reaffirmed our love for this iconic establishment.
I cannot express enough gratitude to the Pfister for their unwavering dedication to making every guest feel valued and cherished. They truly exemplify the essence of hospitality, and we look forward to continuing our tradition of creating cherished memories at this remarkable hotel.

Elegant restaurant in the Pfister hotel. We had a great breakfast with eggs Florentine and blueberry pancakes. Lots of pastries to choose from too.

Was looking for things to do in Milwaukee and tea sounded perfect since I wanted a day trip out with my daughter but it was chilly outside to walk around. So it was nice place to warm up with some tea and a cup of soup great service and friendly staff. Will definitely be doing this again.

Date of visit: March 3, 2024 A friend brought us here after raving about the food and she was definitely not wrong on that front! My Lunch Pick Two of a Chicken Caesar Salad and Chicken Noodle soup was quite good, if overpriced at $18. The salad was generous but the soup was small for the price. A side item of some sort, such as a fruit cup or small pastry would have made this a much better value. My dining companions really enjoyed their pancakes (definitely a star item on the menu!) as well as the club sandwich and the fries were top notch as well. Service was friendly and efficient, with Martine taking great care of us during the meal after getting off to a slow start. I was surprised at how dated the decor was here given some of the prices and the restaurant's presence inside the luxurious Pfister Hotel. Some of the wallpaper was beginning to peel and the 80s feel of the joint took away a bit of the ambiance of being at The Pfister. However it was all in all an above average meal.

It was very nice, noise level was a bit higher than usual. My slider was just okay nothing great. Chili was okay. Good but not great. The staff was awesome as always. It is one of the reasons I keep going to this restaurant. The food is always good, I just enjoy it more sometimes.

You will wait 45 minutes for the best pancake of your life. And they will not care that you waited 45 minutes for the best pancake of your life. Be ok with that.

The food was lovely, very tasty. However, we were looking for a brunch place and very specific about wanting to have brunch, and they do not serve brunch. That was a little bit disappointing but we managed to find things on the menu that we liked.

Consistently good food and service. Many of the wait staff have been there for years and get to know regular business clients and take great, personable care of us. Good is always good and nice menu selections.

The corned beef hash was absolutely the best I've ever had. I ordered it with hash browns because that's what the waitress recommended and they layer it with spinach on a bed of mustard cream sauce. I got fruit as an added side. I really appreciate the genuine recommendations by the waitress. The restaurant is comfortable and this dish was spectacular.

Lox plate was skimpy and not up to usual standards. Fresh fruit is disappointing—grapes with marks, edges of fruit indicate they weren't freshly cut, omelets seemed like they were slopped together, bread was thrown on plate, water glasses and coffee cups rarely refilled, had to frequently ask for service—flat wear. We had reservation and were seated at a table that wasn't for the same number of our party. Just not the special occasion we hoped for or expected of the Pfister.

This experience was the complete opposite of my previous visit. We were seated immediately, but then totally ignored. 5 servers were standing around the service area chatting together, but no one came to our table. The restaurant was NOT busy. No one came to the table at all. After waiting 7-10 minutes, we left. There was no one at the host/hostess stand to speak with. Not at all what one should expect at The Pfister Hotel. I did report this to the front desk!
