I’ve been a student at UWM for years now and this place always has problems. Tried returning my book for the summer semester and drove to campus and was told that they aren’t accepting rentals there because they just reopened and I have to ship it myself. This bookstore isn’t friendly and is poorly run. It’s not fair for off campus students to drive all the way down to simply be told “we can’t accept your return in person”. At least put out a notice on your website saying the campus store isn’t accepting returns and you have or do it yourself. That’s nothing but poor communication and laziness on their end. I mean at least notify people you can’t accept returns on campus before they drive all the way down…

The website and posted hours are different. I was there after they closed but before the website said they were to be closed. Lesson learned - call ahead with this place, always. It's upstairs in the Student Union if you're new to campus.

Just horrible. Their response time is veryy long. The shipping can literally take months or a couple days. They've lost multiple books of mine before. Which resulted in the delivery being weeks late in to a semester. Their customer service varies from the worst to the best. Their prices tend to be slightly higher than most other places. Which is alright if they did their service right. I wish I could avoid buying through them but for the major I'm in now they pretty much force it. If you want to have an easier time get books on other sites if possible and avoid this place as much as you can.

Seamus Is amazing he knew where my book was with a easy return process at end of semester. If I could I would live in the back of Ecampus because seamus is cool.

I ordered my textbooks a month before the start of the fall semester and was getting very nervous when the fall semester was closing in and I still didn't have my "Physics of Stars" textbook. thankfully, I thought, the book arrived the Saturday before the start of the semester. But when I opened it, they sent the wrong textbook (A medical text book meant for someone in CA, I'm in WI). After tirelessly trying to get ahold of them through their "24/7" chat lines and email, I was finally able to call the day after Labor day which was the first day of the semester. They "fixed" the problem but tell me I won't receive my text book for upwards of four weeks. A month into the semester and there's nothing more they will do to fix their screw up and allow me to get my book any sooner and there's no ebook versions.**update**I called today to get an update on the timing for my text book and found out the replacement wasn’t even submitted. After asking the new person how long it should take now I couldn’t get an answer from them. Hands down some of the worst service I’ve ever experienced.

They charge more to rent a used textbook for a semester than it would cost to buy a brand new copy of that textbook. Absolute scam do not rent or buy textbooks here!

Sold me a bad code for Aleks, which I needed for chemistry, a full month later and I still don't have a working code, and they still won't fix it. If I could give them 0 stars I would.

I'd give zero stars if I could. Sent me 3 wrong books. They still have my money and I'm still waiting for a manager call back. No exaggeration. It's actually worse than this. This is just the short version lbvs

Bookstore was fine. They don't carry many books or supplies, but maybe that stuff isn't out for people to get themselves because of covid.?

Their textbook buyout policy is a joke. I rented a textbook which I later decided I wanted to keep, and they made me pay full price for it! They didn't subtract the rental price I already paid from the textbook's total price so I could pay the difference like all other stores do, but they had me pay it all over again. I just really wanted the textbook because I found out it would help me with my other classes too so I bought it anyways, but that policy is a complete joke. Just rent from Amazon where they're not trying to take advantage of broke college students.

They had one of my books for 3 weeks and I had to call the book supplier to get me a number so they could unpack it after 3 weeks.

All college books are pricey. This bookstore is convenient, has a variety of items and I particularly like the panther gear. Much nicer bookstore compared to MATC where books are not available at all. At least at UWM they order enough books according to class size. The books at other tech colleges are even higher, sometimes more than the class.

The worst customer service I have ever received. Called 3 times to speak with a manager and still have not received a call back from one. Impossible to work with.
