I have had an auto loan with BMO Bank for 4 years. I have always made my payments on time and in full. I received my confirmation letter that my loan was paid in full. After they lost my last payment, of course, but thankfully didn't charge me any fees. In the confirmation letter it states if payments were made through a automatic billing service to contact them to stop future payments. In all of my years never have I ever had to do this with any other loan. I contacted them and was told about the online form to fill out and to fax or mail. Which of course, needs to be received 5 business days before the date of the automatic payment. I have exactly 5 days until my next payment, I asked if they would take an expedited letter, which they denied. I chose to fax it to them. I called to see if they received it and was told that could take 3 to 5 days to update my account because someone in the back office has to put the information onto my account.... I will never use this bank for another loan again and I would suggest anyone else to look for someone else as well. You should not have to go through this type of hassle to have money stolen from you after you made all of your payments in good faith.

After repeated fraudulent activity, that they said was fixed, yet again did BMO allow someone EXPLICITLY unauthorized to withdraw from my account. This is not only a bad bank, but this has to be illegal, right?

Location currently fails to take cash deposit from customers. Talked to the manager for a few minutes and felt disrespected. Asked to close my accounts and they didn’t want to service me. Bank then blamed it on Milwaukee.

Online Business Credit Card account support is Terrible. My account gets locked out repeatedly for no reason. Phone support can't verify my account without 20 questions eye scan and blood type. I just need answers and they can't help me even though I own the Business. Guess I will pay with paypal or my personal card instead yet again. Will be looking for a different bank very soon. I will say at our branch they are helpful, efficient and kind. But I can't call them for card help after hours...

The hours are bad if you work 1st shift. So it is busy on the weekend if you need to actually use a service other than a teller. They plan for this by only having one person working so you just sit there, waiting, for what seems like an eternity, to do something simple like open an account for your kid. I know we can go else where but it is close to our house and we have other reasons as well. If you haven't banked here go somewhere else. Unless you have a schedule that allows for you to come in during a weekday. Avoid the weekend like the plague.

The nicest, people...Very helpful , always cheerful!...EZ in and out & a drive-thru. I work with 3 other banks and these people are TOPS!

This branch has the longest wait times of any drive thru I have ever been, even though when I come I am the only customer in the drive thru. The tellers are TOO busy chatting with each other, by what seems non-bank business and too busy processing other transactions of customers not present. The usual wait time is 10-15 minutes for them to acknowledge you, process your deposit and return it. They also do not secure your items under the bar, as I have on several occasions had my stuff blow down the street with no offer of help from the bank to retrieve items. They just said, oops. Terrible!

We have banked here for a while and I always find everyone to be incredibly friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to accommodate our needs and even helped us through some tricky estate transactions that probably, in the end, saved us some attorney fees. They always make me feel welcome

These are the rudest people I have ever encountered. I walked in, and there were 3 tellers standing at 2 open windows talking. Not one of them acknowledged my presence. After about 3 minutes of standing in the same spot one of them asked if she could help me. I told her I needed to get something notarized, and she said both of their notaries were busy at the moment to take a seat, and she would let them know I was there. Before I could get sat down she was hollering at me across the bank wanting to know if I was a customer of the bank. When I said I was not, but was willing to pay for what I needed, I was told no, very rudely, and they could not be bothered to speak to me after that, nor get me out the door fast enough. I am new to this community, and I have not yet opened a checking account, but I can promise you that I would NEVER do business with this bank. They were terrible before they knew if I was a customer, so I know that they treat their customers the same way. Beware. I would recommend US Bank, they were great!
