I had a wonderful experience! Tom was able to fit me in after their stylist wasn’t available. He answered all of my questions about my hair and left me feeling fresh and confident afterwards. You can tell he leads a wonderful team and they are all so kind!

McKenna did an amazing job! She was so gentle with my head and very detail-oriented. The fade cut turned out perfect—clean, sharp, and exactly what I wanted. My stylist, Gina, worked magic on my hair! She suggested to try something no one has ever recommended, and now I can’t wait to wear my hair is so many different ways! I haven’t felt so confident about my hair in so long! She additionally provided many suggestions and answered all my questions. Her assistant made my first time experience enjoyable as well. Everyone was so welcoming and knowledgeable!

Brilliant, knowledgeable, and caring stylists listen to you carefully and approach every aspect of your hair with kindness, patience, good decisions, safer ingredients than some other area places, and utmost care. Many of my neighbors use this salon and have been going here for years. You will love the operators and what you will feel at this neighborhood salon is a warmth of humanity that is priceless…and prices that are caring too, and reasonable. The employees are so exceptionally knowledgeable that you will simply be grateful — and IMPRESSED! This place is a blessing on the Lower East Side!

Great Service!!! Gina, Mary, and Gracie were all part of my special day! Gracie did my daughter’s hair just as she wanted!! My 12 year old is hard to please and she was smiling from ear to ear! She looked beautiful! Gina was our make up artist and my matron of honor and myself can’t stop talking about her! So sweet, knowledgeable and talented! Showed her a picture and she gave me exactly that! Mary did mine and my matron of honor hair and again very nice and gave me exactly what I asked for and more! Mary was great! If you want to feel satisfied on your wedding day book Beauty Milwaukee!!! Thank you Ladies!!!

I’ve been going to Shannon for many years and she’s always done my hair exactly like I wanted cut and color. Salon is clean and the staff is friendly. Highly recommended

I've been coming to this salon to get my hair done for at least a year. Such a great experience! I always make an appointment with Gina, who is super friendly and talented. I haven't worked with anyone else there, because the quality of service and experience from Gina is so great! I usually get full highlights and a trim, which I believe is fairly pricey and worth the money. The other reviews are interesting to read. Kind of all over the place. The salon is in a two story former boarding house (I think?). It has that general "beauty salon" feel to it with all the products, set up spaces, and signage/posters. But in a neat looking older house. I love that it is walkable from my apartment on the East Side because parking in that area is a nightmare. So, I'd rather just walk for 25 minutes or less. Highly recommend Gina!

I moved here from NYC (so thats my standard). I got my haircut here and roots touched up blonde. I am a natural brunette. It took 6+ hours to cut, bleach and tone 2x, color 3x. My professionally done hair was ruined by the team here which is full of young non professionals. When I asked to have it corrected they gave me to an even less experienced stylist. It is over a month out and the products they concocted in the back has faded to a bronze-orange next to my blonde previously bleached hair. Don't get your hair dyed here they are not colorist specialists. Hair cut was fine.
