Update 12-1-23 I noticed my review text was taken down. We have been trying to contact Jennifer Hodgson to dispute a complaint about a surgery that was half performed. We have used your emails and am still getting little to no response.

All staff friendly. Excellent care in the walk in/urgent care. Wait times are terrible especially when you are really sick. Last time I was there wait time 1.5 to 3 hours. They do offer the option to reserve a spot but still a long wait time.

This place stinks. They don’t take you back in the order you came, I came in for a burst ear drum and person after person were called back before me. They said it depends on what you’re being seen for. Never heard that before from an urgent care place. Unfriendly staff too. When I asked again if I’d be next the woman at the desk said “some nurses walk slower than others.” Don’t go here if you can help it.

Mike Daugherty PA and nurse were excellent. Genuinely concerned for me. Outstanding job explaining things. Can't imagine any urgent care visit could be better than what I experienced. They were the best!

I had the absolute worst experience at an urgent care. The doctors that work in the urgent care doesn't care about their patients and honestly should have chosen a different profession. Even though the website said their was a 30 minute wait I ended up waiting for two hours. When I was finally called back, I waited another hour for the doctor to come in.And when the doctor came in, she came in with a student and had the student analyze my issue . She asked the student what she thought about my issue was and the student couldn't give her answer. So they just sent me off with pain medication. I eventually ended up waiting 4 hours for pain medication, and my health problem was not solved.

I will give negative stars if I could. Unbelievable terrible service. I arrived and checked in, the waiting time is around 45 mins. I waited for one hour and the after people kept getting called. I checked with front desk people to see if I missed the call. They said no. And I kept waiting for half an hour until no one was waiting. I checked with front desk again. They said because I made an appointment afternoon so I won’t be called until then. I understand how the system works but they should let me know this when I checked in not after waiting for one and half hours.

New to WI and should've walked out. I had the unfortunate experience of landing in Urgent Care on Good Hope Rd. I have had an earache for 3 days. I made appt for 1pm. When I arrived for 1pm, I'm told by the "mute" receptionist, with her badge turned around, that I had a 1pm "reservation". Interesting distinction. I asked 2x where I was on the reservation list and I was 7th, 1st, and back down. I was finally given the courtesy of a treatment room by two RN/Medical Assistants - one in training - both very nice. A quick once-over for BP etc. They left me. By two hours' time, Chris the PA (Christopher Mayer) bounced in. I shared with him I had recently had Covid-19 but got a bad ear ache 3 days ago. He took a peek in my good ear, then the one that hurts. Nothing wrong here. You need to take an OTC antihistamine to get rid of the effusion. Good to know. He didn't address my sore throat. He didn't look at my throat. He did not listen to my chest. He did not look at my nose. He was uninterested in my concerns. He did not do ANYTHING. I also live in a new-build apartment complex, that a portion, has been evacuated due to finding TCE vapors. Today, I discovered that my building is now being tested. I asked Chris to request a lab test for exposure. He said they could not order such a test as it wasn't ordinary, nor was it on his computer selection. I would not be writing any of this, except I am in receipt of his/their post-visit summary where all systems were reviewed (they were not), we had conversation regarding treatment plan and follow-up (we did not), he wrote on my MEDICAL RECORD that I was angry and stormed out. His commentary on this was not even understandable (sic) " that is why he would this placed." WHAT THE HECK? Do I trust a healthcare facility that cannot spell check or make their point? He certainly wanted it to be known that *I* was unkind and "stormed" out. I did leave abruptly as I'd been there nearly three hours for nothing. I murmured, aloud, "What am I doing in this place?" That is true. In the same summary, he noted I am pleasant and is thankful to be involved in my care! It was like a third-world country in the lobby. The staff were unwelcoming. The PA-C was miserable and unkind. Thank God it appears to be nothing to worry about. I will also send this to my insurance as I received no care, whatsoever, with the exception of the two RN/Med Assistants who escorted me to the treatment room. NEVER, NEVER will this "new-to- Wisconsin" resident use this facility again. I felt like I needed to be hosed off from the bad vibes and unwelcoming place.EDIT: I reached out to the owner/s per their email provided. Of course, I got no call back.

Went here on 08/18/2023..Saw the ENT DOCTOR by the name of Dr. D name is too long .. Once there he never introduced himself , he only asked what brought me in when clearly he knew already. I told him I haven't been able to hear out of my left ear since 2020 he says ok well let me take a look. I told him visits to urgent care as well as the hospital all stated I needed to see an ENT DOCTOR. I'm guessing he thought at this point I was just goingbto accept what he told me after I had a referral from an ear doctor the Friday prior. ..He takes a look in my ear and says you have some ear loss but nit much it's on like 7p% of your hearing is gone . I then stated I knew that just didn't know it was that much loss of my hearing. Well he goes on to say..if you stop smoking your snoring will stop.I sY excuse me..he says well either that or I have to put a tube in your ear to drain the fluid so..T this point I say well there is fluid in my ear rite?? He replies as says..again if u stop smoking it'll help..what will help my hearing will come back ..he says no..but it'll help..Mind you the whole while he's talking to me he's using his hands in an aggressive way til when he left the room I was on my phone looking up other ENT DOCTORS because I'd rather go somewhere else and wait more time then to deal w this guy and his very u unprofessional bedside manners I mean it was awful til I was telling his assistant how he made me feel she then replied and said lots of ppl complims about his tone and how unprofessional he is and very nonchalant about patients concerns. HE then came back she couldn't say more but I was grateful to know someone was aware of this guy's behavior. He started the procedure not telling me what he's doing how he's doing it whats next nothing then when I had questions about what was he doing and what was next he replied and said..u have my whole chair shaking and from this camera on the inside you have it looking like a volcano..I said well you're not telling what's going on anybody will react to pain especially when it's aggressive and you don't know why..he kept inserting the tube after Lansing the inside of my ear not telling me he just did that I felt a pain an sting and then pressure all at one time.. I was literally crying til tye point he wanted to stop and stated the sooner u stop moving the sooner he can be done..never apologizing for his pain he's inflicting on me.. I just start praying because this had to be done but I prayed to God there wasn't more damages done..when I asked how much longer he replied taking a deep deep breath saying I told you or I can stop and you can just stop smoking the cigarettes whe hear it is I never told him I smoked cause he never asked he saw the pack in my purse which could've been someone else's I mean we can't just go through life assuming. Once he was done the only thing I could think of was waiting on the Aurora survey ro complete..well I never girl one so this is why I'm here doing a reveiew . I asked as he walked oyt the door how do I take care of my ear w the time in it..I kept walking through the the door and never answered I thiught he was going to answer once he came back w a care packet..well sadly he never did..I had to go to Google to get it. ANYONE THAT HAVE TO SEE THOS YOUNG PHYSICIANS..PLEASE PLEASEE BE AWARE OF THIS GUY HIS NAME STARTS W A D AND HE WESRS A PONYTAIL AND HES IN HIS LATE 30'S OR ESRLY 30'S. THIS ALSO EXPLSINS WHY HIS OHIURS ARE SHORT HES ONKY TYERE FOR 3 hours..please go to someone else or another location I really wish I knew how to pronounce his name it's that's long I believe it's Dr. Donnoulph something like that if you have to see this guy take a family member with you preferably a man your husband dad brother son nephew uncle because he's very rude and wjere om at in my life today I can't allow anyone to take my energy for free

I’ve visited this urgent care clinic a few times and I’ve had good experiences for the most part only had one bad experience with the doctor that had a prejudice against overweight people but the other doctors that I had have been very kind and compassionate and caring Dr. Tara Rakowski is the best doctor I’ve had at my urgent care visit I’ve had her twice and she really got to the root of my problems. She took her time to figure out what was going on. She didn’t just put me on drugs and sent me home. She was patient and she’s very kind. Her bedside manner reminds me of a mother, but she was really kind and thorough and got to the root of my illness she even stay with me during my breathing treatment, even though it was a crazy day there.

First I’ve never wrote a review for anyone but I felt I have to this time. First I arrived at urgent care in terrible back pain and was struggling to get out of the car when a nurse suddenly arrived with a wheelchair and help my wife get me out of the car. When I was taken to the room and treated by Dr. Nicole Mubanga I found her to be the most compassionate, knowledgeable and professional caregiver I’ve ever seen. I’m feeling a lot better today and and I just want to thank the entire staff of Aurora Healthcare
