Am disabled in a wheelchair. Rolled in,One person at counter. RolledTo her and sat there and waited assuming she was busy. Then I thought maybe she didn’t see me so reached and put my phone on her counter. Still nothing. Finally I pushed myself to stand up and ask her what was going on. She asked me if I signed in and was telling her that’s what I was trying to do. She then pointed at another lady, who was not there when I came in , and she was helping someone that came in after me. I have learned a lot becoming disabled in the last 3 years but will not be accepting of others inconsiderate treatment. May not sound big to u but it is. We deal with a lot of things being trapped in a wheelchair but people working in the health care field are expected to have empathy on the very people that keep them employed
