Excellent and prompt service. They always have my scripts ready on time. Polite staff. My only issue is several steps to just fill 1 script. You first check in and they go find your script. Then you wait in line again for different pharmacist to dispense it to you and go over literature. At least 15 mins wasted. They need to hasten this process. They also need to add some generic common over the counter meds in addition to brand names. They also on 2 occasions offered to page me when prescription was ready for pick up and both times wasn't informed, I've resorted to simply calling to check myself. Overall efficiency needs to be improved and they need to streamline Med refilling process and cut down unnecessary waits.

I have my prescriptions filled through the Aurora Outpatient Pharmacy located in the Aurora St Luke's Medical Center on 27th St. and Oklahoma Ave. For several reasons, I consider Aurora Pharmacy to be among the 2-3 best pharmacies I've ever used. The Aurora Pharmacy location within St. Luke's is open 24 hours, seven days a week. As someone who works during the day, I love the convenience of being able to pick up my prescriptions at any time. It's also convenient for those late night and weekend illnesses where you don't want to wait until morning to get your prescription. Unlike big drug store chains such as Walgreens or CVS, Aurora Pharmacy is focused on providing personalized service, specifically with regards to filling prescriptions and assisting customers with those prescriptions. I feel like each Aurora pharmacist has my health and best interests as their primary focus. When questions arise, they provide answers (or work to get answers for me). It reminds me of the local pharmacies which were common when I was growing up. Those pharmacists actually knew many of their customers by name and were familiar with each person's specific health issues. Unlike the large drug chain stores, Aurora Pharmacy isn't interested in being a convenience store. The pubic space within Aurora Pharmacy is small, and the only non-prescription items you'll find on the limited shelves are heathcare related -- no frozen pizzas, light bulbs or motor oil for sale with your prescriptions. As an aside, I've often wondered about stores that call themselves "pharmacies," but then sell cigarettes and food items that are among the most unhealthy things a person could put in their body. How do such large drug stores chains reconcile branding themselves as "working for your health" and then customers sell cigarettes and junk food? Ultimately for many people, the choice of which pharmacy to use depends on what is considered "in network" by their health insurance plan. If Aurora Pharmacy is in your health insurance network, I encourage you to check it out -- I suspect you will be pleasantly surprised. Disclaimer: I have been an Aurora Health Care employee (located in the administrative offices) for the last 15 months. Although I do not work directly for Aurora Pharmacy, I began using their services when I switched jobs and my RX insurance changed to include Aurora Pharmacy. I've attempted to review them in as unbiased a fashion as I would review any other outlet.

This place is alright. And the customer service is good and i must say one of their workers is really cute and helpful his name is Abel now he is some real eye candy! he makes the experience way better, by far the cutest employee there, he should get a raise for being so good looking. He totally makes the horrible two hour wait for my medication worth it. I wish i could take a dose of him every day.

Worst customer service ever. They make you wait for ever even if they only have to put a label in the medecine box. They don't care if you have being there waiting for an hour or longer. Sometimes they tell youthat the prescription will be ready in 2 hours and when you go back to pick it up they don't have out ready and even tell you that out was not order that you have to go back later.
