Always surprised what your going to walk out with. Like Free Cat butt magnets?? or Free pointer pen to drive the kitty crazy?. Love the promos. Have loved American Science and surplus for years with my husband and son's, now Grown men. 25 years later and you can still spend at least an hour in. ?❤️

While I am much more used to the Geneva location, I was glad to see that the Milwaukee location has most of the same great things and has the same eclectic vibe in the repurposed old building. The parking lot is a bit of a mine field, so "tread" lightly. Shopping for all of your science nerd needs and novelties.

If you can't find it here, you probably don't need it. You will find all kinds of amazing treasurers. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I always make it a point to get over there when I have a project or something fun planned.

My son and I traveled 30 minutes to do the Dream Catcher event only to find out that I needed to have a Facebook account and to be signed up through Facebook. What?I read the Events page prior to going to this store, and it says this: "Free, no minimum age, parent supervision required." No mention of pre-registering on Facebook.I, and millions of others, don't have a Facebook account, why would a store event restrict registration to Facebook users only?Needless to say, we were told that we couldn't do the Dreamcatcher event, so we went home, and I can say that I won't be back. 1 star.

I want to thank John (and the other great staff) and American Science and Surplus for hosting an Eclipse Viewing Event yesterday 4/8! They made it so interesting, exciting and fun! They had a cool telescope and were so patient and helpful answering everyone's questions. Thanks again.
